Been away/updates

Today is the first day in months I have been able to spend any amount of time here on my favorite site. I have been "sniping" looks and quick reads of topics I follow, but haven't had the time to respond. I have missed y'all so much!

A few updates: I had hernia surgery last Friday. Recovering well, but it's going to leave an ugly scar right at the bikini line . Oh well, at least I have my health right? The upside is I can't do my morning workouts for 3 weeks so I leave for work later giving me more time each morning to dress and lounge around the house. I have really been enjoying those times. So relaxing!

I have gotten much braver about my shopping. I actually take time to look at things in the ladies department (yes, even lingerie) and have added some nice things to my growing wardrobe. There was a time when I would grab the first bra or panties I saw that were the right size without much thought as to how they would fit or look. My hope is to eventually go shopping completely dressed feminine and really enjoy the experience.

My wife is going out of town for a few days in early May so I will have lots of time to spend dressed. I hope to be able to get out at least once, hopefully more. I live not far from Washington DC, so maybe a trip to the city one day might be fun? If there is anyone in my area (central Virginia) who could give me some advice on where to go or would like to visit, that would be wonderful! I would love some girl time to talk and share tips. Feel free to send me a private message for details.

I guess that's about it for now. I look forward to spending more time here soon.

Welcome back, Ashleigh. It's nice to hear from you. Sorry to hear about the health problem, but I'm glad you're on the mend. Congrats on the shopping. I do hope you can do more and have lots more fun.

I know of at least one CDer group in the D.C. area. I'm waiting for my friend to get me the contact info, and I'll PM you.

Sounds like with the exception of the hernia your doing great. Your even making the best of that just beware of enjoying the time off too much. Have a great time while the wife gives you some space. been there and loved that.
