Honestly I stopped attending the church I'd gone to for 12 years shortly after I came out to my wife. I honestly don't know their stance on it, but I didn't want to be the one to force an issue on them that I'd felt pretty certain they'd not dealt with before.

I haven't been to church since.

As a trans person who is a part of a SBC, who is out, accepted, and not looked down upon, I hate this. I'm not gonna deny my true self for the rest of my life. I don't see how God can make us in his image yet screw up our lives like this, if he's supposed to be so loving. Science has proved that this is real, and that it needs treatment, not repentance, This is gonna go over just as well as gay therapy.
