I thought the anchorwoman did a good job of asking questions, and was skeptical of many of the claims and fears raised by the Family First gentleman. I do hope that they give the other side equal time to explain the truth. I noticed that he used the same Dutch study that is being touted frequently by those opposed to TG rights rules and laws.

I wish they had asked Bob how those same parents feel about the gay, lesbian, and bisexual youth who share facilities... "Should they be turned away now? And where should they be allowed to pee?" That would bring it up from the supposed 1% (which is honestly more like 2-4%) up to around 15-20% of the kids... "And shall schools be forced to add further bathrooms for each and every group? As that would triple the costs of bathrooms... Or would it be smarter to just make them all unisex, with stalls all around... Maybe adding a small 'primping' room, to let the girls primp in peace..."

They just love to go on and on about "the danger to your children" while casually just forgetting that trans kids are children just the same, and deserve to be respected in who we are...

The losers here are always the children and you have to wonder about someone who claims "family first" that promotes causing suffering to children in need of understanding.

"The children! The children!" is frequently the excuse of those with ulterior motives who have no other rational basis for what they are arguing. Of course children should be protected but these laws are no longer occurring in a vacuum. School districts, large school districts, like Houston or Dallas in Texas, or Los Angeles in California, have implemented and been using such laws for a decade or longer and they all report that such laws and regulations prevent problems rather than cause them.

Let's try asking these people why they are ignoring such a wide swath of proven historical knowledge? Then their real reasons will come to light.
