Public Restrooms

Recently I finally got up the nerve to use public restrooms. To frequently when I'm out and need a restroom I just can all my plans and head home. Obviously I'm close by! Any way I recently tried a family restroom at the mall and a handicapped restroom at a rest stop on the interstate. Both visits were uneventful. I have used the ladies room at the hotel where we have our Tri-ess meetings in Orlando but, that is with the ok of the resort and another time at the local casino. Even tho I seem to pass I still get nervous Feet forward of course at all times.

Congrats, Wendae! Yes, the first few times can be very anxiety producing. But once you realize that everyone isn't looking at you, it is easier to be confident and relaxed. The place where I still get a tad nervous is when there is a line, like at the movie theater, and the women have more time to look at who is in line with them. But even then, I've never actually had a problem. Nine tenths of it is all in the mind, and if you don't mind, it won't matter.

Wendae, I'm not going to answer this, because, I'm a cross dresser, and use the men's room when I'm out, I wipe the toliet off and spray it with lysol, I carry with me, then I sit down. My wife god rest her soul, never, ever used a toilet outside, where ever we were sho would go home, or to her daughters who lived close or son. I used to tease her about it, and boy would she ger mad, but to you I say congrat's, lot of love and hugs sweet charlene

Carolyn & Wendae -- It is standing in lines where you see first hand the wide variety of shapes and sizes that women come in. I have never been the subject of suspicion yet, but when there are women with young children in tow, it can be a hoot as to WHO the children will ask mom about!! As I said, it has never been me, but boy did the moms end up with some nasty looks on their faces, toward the kid.

It certainly gets easier with time. Eventually that little skirted figure simply represents relief. I have also never had a problem.

if i ever manage to go out dressed up, i will use the female public bathrooms, and most-likely i will be nervous, lol

Carolyn, your comments are right on. I don't have a problem using women's rooms just about anywhere but when I found myself at a concert I balked and just held it. I didn't like the idea of standing in line for a long time so that all of the other women could check me out. I figured all it would take is one to voice some sort of objection and then all hell might break loose.

When I can slip in do my business and slip out there is no problem or hesitation. Next time I go to a concert I will wear depends ;-)
