Can't Wait To Go Shopping Again

Due to being out of work I have not done much in the way of shopping this year apart from one blouse and a skirt earlier this year. I am applying for as many job as I can and I feel that a employment maybe just around the corner. Would be great if I got something soon. I love shopping for ladies clothes and pantyhose this time of year. I have such happy memories of shopping for clothes in my local department stores in the early to mid 80's. The hosiery counters in department stores were like Alladin's cave in those days so much to choose from. I was still a bit new to buying my own clothes in my early twenties but it was a rewarding and heady experience. In those days I never bought skirts or dresses because I did not know my size and had to rely on wearing my Mothers stuff. No such problems know I have known for over twenty years that I am a size 16. Can't wait to return to the racks of one of my all time favourite shops Dorothy Perkins, not only great for skirts dresses and blouses but they have a very good range of pantyhose. Will keep you posted girls might have some luck on the job front soon.

I love shopping too, Roberta. I recently had a lovely outing to the mall with my sister. Hard to believe, but she thinks I have excellent taste. So does my wife! Maybe its true. I hope you get to go out again soon and stock up on some winter clothes and maybe some boots. Something to look forward to, at least.

HUGS

Lovely! I shop 'till I drop but I use E-bay. I know my sizes and rarely get it wrong. I'm not comfortable with the idea of shopping for real, though I do find myself wandering around dresses and skirts sections in stores. I'm so glad for you that you got to shop!

I hope you get back into work soon, although perhaps time at home means more time dressed? I went from part-time (due to the recession) back to full time and miss my dressing days desperately. However, retirement beckons...!

Hugs

Thanks Eve. I love shopping. Part of the thrill of buying ladies clothes is speculating whether the sales assistant knows that if it is for me. As I am getting more and more bolder about crossdressing I really feel that I would like to come out to the sales assistant instead of saying that they were for my other half. Would love to shop online but it is a bit tricky as I have a joint account with my wife. I would love it though. I absolutely love browsing on the sight Tightsplease. It is very frustrating not to be able to purchase their lovely products. I did sign up for their e mail newsletter. I sent them a message saying that I was a crossdresser and loved their products, I had a reply back from them.

I would urge any of the girls who love legwear as I do to visit a website called legslavish@com. All manner of legwear including tights and stockings is reviewed by a group of young Women on videos. Most of the tights are to die for. Again I sent an email saying that I loved the site as I dress in Womens clothes. If you log on to the sites they have the most up to date postings videos can also be seen on Youtube. It is all very respectable, the models are very decent Women. I must say that I get really envious. Would love to model tights and clothes for the site if I only I was a twenty something Woman.

I love to shop online with my wife for panties. She does not know I want to do more than panties. I like shopping with her for her clothes as I can wear them when she is not around. Maybe someday I will let her know.

Shopping for female clothes is always my favorite thing in the entire world to do. I just love going through the womans section at department stores for hours looking for the right item that I think I would really enjoy wearing. Of course I do this not dressed up and do it in my male attire so I get weird looks all the time in which I am getting used to and really don't care. I am very masculine so I am sure they don't get that the clothes are for me which is fine by me but it seems like people thing its strange when a man is looking at female clothes, get over it ladies, lol

I have been spending lots of money lately on things like panties and slips and tights and what not and need to stop. If my bank account had more money in it I am affraid that it would be empty because I would be buying nothing but feminine clothes.

It's sooo nice to be around people who understand--great topic--white lace panties are my favourite. I work in an academic library and only discovered cross-dressing this year. What a relief! Really need to let my woman out. I guess i'm not typical though--I'm not straight--I'm attracted to other cross-dressers. I really appreciate you all and it's so nice to know I'm not alone.

Best,

Jana

Shopping completely dressed as a women has become my favorite hobby. I just wear what is appropriate for the weather as any girl would do.

Yesterday I visited a shopping center in a small town on Cape Cod, Massachusetts.

I was dressed in bra & panties, ladies jeans, a beautiful sweater, casual ladies jacket, booties, jewelry, & scarf. I am size 44D and did not hide my projection. For my International girl friends Intentional conversion =[44D 44D 100D 22C 115D 7D]. With my forms I'm not easy to hide.

Now the funny part. I walked into a speciality shop that sells high end bras. My jacket is open, my necklace is very visible, my bust is not hidden. There is no way You can't tell I'm a man wearing women's cloths. Guess what?

The Sales Clerk asked "Can I help you". My answer "Yes I looking to buy some bras".

HER ANSWER " WHAT IS YOUR WIFES SIZE"

This lovely lady fitted me, helped me try on 8-10 bras, gave me her honest opinion on fit and style. Told me I was her first male customer and she had worked in the shop for 2 years. We had laughs, conversation, and shared discussion with the other women in the shop. She was a darling lady and I will go back.

People see what they want to see. Take small baby steps, go slowly, gain a little more confidence each time, enjoy the experience and be proud of yourself. You are a very special person.

I hope this helps.

hi everyone, my name is giz (or gizzie), i use all prns but i prefer they/it and i just found out abt this place pretty recently !! im really excited to find community among other trans people from so many walks of life !! in my personal life, i do have trans/queer friends but its not easy to navigate that without coming out all willy nilly (and i can't come out to my family, pretty much ever) so this is a pretty good place for me to get to know people and make new friends !!   i also have this weird dysphoria issue that i feel like everyone (and society at large lol) is attaching me to categories and boxes that don't really fit me (obviously this is to do with my agab) so being here without that presentation is also really helpful !!   i also hope to be able to start and share my transitions goals and things like that (just getting my body to a more androgynous look) !!   thanks for reading, and i hope to see more of y'all soon !!

Well, my friends are out publicly. Openly transgender, and on HRT.  I agree that the survival of all of us is at stake.  But I think there are threats greater and more dangerous than those faced exclusively by LGBTQ folks.   Rising prices. Unaffordable food.  EPA strangling transportation and energy.  Needless foreign wars that put us at risk of literal nuclear annihilation.  A government that wants to tax us, track us, and control every aspect of our lives...including using us as guinea pigs for their medical experiments.     Trump is no savior.  Neither is the Republican party.  But I believe that a vote for Democrats in the federal government is for sure a vote for globalism and what follows it.  War, famine, plague, slavery, and death don't care if we're trans or cis.

People who are out publicly, and openly transgender, maybe on HRT, having changed names and gender, have a lot to lose if anti-trans politicians take power.  They have openly called for our eradication, and promise to do everything they can to accomplish this.  (again, 2025) For someone in this position the election is about our survival.  It's foolish to delude ourselves into thinking "Oh, they don't really mean that.  It's all for show," or, "There's other more important things to concern ourselves with." Maybe for some people the other things take priority.  But if you have skin in the game, things look different.

If that happens, a lot of things I don't want to see might also be codified into law.  And some things that shouldn't be law might not get repealed.  To me, progress in one area isn't worth the price we'd have to pay in several other areas.     For me, voting on LGBTQ issues always ends up as an "out of the frying pan, but into the fire" sort of event.

Trying out a new wig. Got my reading glasses on. I've also got dark roots now - first time in years.

Thea, your post made me think of a comic named Chloe Petts whom I saw recently on Hannah Gadsby's Gender Agenda comedy special on Netflix. She is a cisgender masculine lesbian. She is brilliant and so funny. I was intrigued by her identification - specifically masculine, not butch. And it seems to me there is a difference.

Today I had a dr appt. When I checked in, I was asked my surname, which I gave. Apparently there were two patients with appointments at that time with that same surname. The receptionist asked, "Are you (my legal name which is feminine) or Paul?" I got such a kick out of it not being assumed I had the feminine name.

That must have felt affirming, albeit perhaps weirdly so. However, I'd construe that more broadly (no pun intended) as sexism rather than misogyny where the latter would imply contempt. Also, incidentally, I've heard chivalry referred to as "benevolent sexism".

My boss is in a panic. His business is a couple straws away from breaking a camel in half. He's just handling the stress very poorly.   My dad, though. He's handling things pretty well, as long as I continue to don't get massively offended by being called: son, boy, etc. His eldest is leaving the State and looks so different than he's been used to over the years. I haven't told him I'm on HRT, but to be fair the changes haven't been massive. I've always had boobs, more so after COVID weight gain and made more obvious with its loss, but now I'm not hiding them--and obviously wearing a bra. The estrogen has done some work, but nothing major (sadly). I think the biggest HRT changes have been my skin and a mild amount of fat redistribution.   Today I'm wearing my cheater, I almost have cleavage! :D I need to get another t-shirt bra to keep a good rotation. I only have two, one push-up, and the rest are unlined (great for Summer, but not great for my Summer wardrobe ).

I eat a ketogenic diet and have had no problems. I don't know about your case but I suspect it is the estrogen. Research the types of ways to take estrogen. Pay close attention to the bloodwork results. If they are not satisfactory, bring it up with your doctor. I take injectables, which are fully covered by insurance. It may not be the route for you, but something to consider. I emphasize to do your research and good luck. You can solve this. Be persistent.    Jennifer
