Hi everyone.

I am wondering which type of legwear you ladies prefer to wear?

Do you like the practicality and warmth of tights and pantyhose? The luxurious and sexiness of stockings and suspenders? Or do you prefer the ease of hold-up stockings?

I personally do not wear hosiery unless it's required of me. If that would be the case, I usually go with standard pantyhose. I don't wear stockings and a garter unless I'm getting lucky that night.

Everyone has their likes and dislikes. Personally... I love tights. Colors, patterns, nice and warm, and still sexy.

Always loved them, always will.

Not too popular in Southern California though.

ahhh....... All of the above? It's kind of a frame of mind. why limit yourself. different colors seem to invoke different emotions in me .

The quality and type of sheerness . I don't need a good reason to wear them.

Regular pantyhose most of the time and as they say variety is the spice of life, for the other kinds.

I'm not shy to say that I just like wearing them.

I'm with Jody on this. I love them all , I'm sure it has to do with my age!

In order Thigh High black- then the real thing with garter belt- then knee high- last panty hose.

Some shoes have to be worn with stocking (its in the bible) - I do love good shoes

It depends a bit on the time of year.

In the winter it is jeans with tights underneath or fleece lined tights (I love those). As the weather gets warmer I move to thinner and thinner tights culminating in 7 denier with sandals on hot days (tights just make my legs appear less blemished). I do often wear fairly thick leggings as well.

While lounging around the house I like thin leggings and (due to bulge ) I wear a tunic or skirt over the top.

I like the idea of stockings but I don't have the boyfriend to show off to and I am unsure whether to invest. I have the idea to go around bare legged this summer and have invested in more secure undies to avoid embarrasing situations (perhaps I'll do a review after I've tested).

Hold ups sound good but I would be afraid they would fall (especially as I use lots of bodycream) and (as would be the case with stockings) I prefer short skirts so may appear a bit too tarty.

I love over the knee socks. Warm and cute in the winter. I very rarely wear hosiery. Last time was in my business suit getting my name changed.

This time of the year the air is so lovely that naked is my favorite.

its cold a lot here so fleece lined and 200 denier tights are the regulars for most of the year . patterned stockings for when i am trying to look sexy for my beloved , any other time its whatever is available in the local shops when the cat or dog ladders the previous ones .

My preference is for tights. I have been wearing them since I used to borrow my Mum's at the age of 12. I love 40 denier opaque tights, 9o denier tights, 10 denier sheer black tights and I love flesh coloured tights especially nude natural and tan. I have only ever worn hold up stockings. I have always fancied trying some black stockings and suspenders to see how I would look in them but I have a real penchant for tights it is the cornerstone of my dressing.

I did go naked yesterday, with no stocking, tights or pantyhose on my legs, that is. I did enjoy feeling the light breeze blowing through my long, light skirt. Sometimes I like the warmth of the tights, of which I have several patterns and solids. Sometimes I wear knee-highs or thigh-highs. Sometimes I just wear them underneath underneath my man pants. I'm having a problem with runs in my nylons however. Any advice on that, girls?!

All i can say about runs is to do your nails before putting them on and then be gentle. I rarely wear them.

I do not wear any stockings(socks when heavy work on the farm) during the summer. I love the breeze a skirt creates and can almost pass out if i'm standing above an air conditioning vent. Ahaaaaaaa

I would love to have bare legs but they're still not good enough at the moment. I think in a year's time I will be ok. I wear nearly black tights but hate the fact I get holes in every pair after a couple of days.

Would love to wear stockings and suspenders buit find that a lack of suspension is a major problem with the belt dropping ever lower together with the stockings!

Don't think I'm going to get lucky any time soon so probably not a serious issue! haha.

I personally try to avoid putting on low-denier tights and stockings when my legs are starting to grow stubble as it's too harsh on the nylon and ends up laddered. Nice smooth waxed or well shaved pins ensure your nylons glide on with ease.

When putting on low denier tights and stockings, I always wear latex gloves. These give a good enough grip to easily put the tights on and also a necessity when your hands are chapped and nails are brittle.

If you're going to wear any kind of legwear that doesn't have a reinforced toe, then always make sure your toenails are roundly clipped and always helps to moisturize your feet on a regular basis.

I would agree with moisturising your feet. I have had far less problems since I have moisturised daily including rubbing into the nails well!

A good topic to pop up as the weather cools. I may soon be more a fan of leg wear as the temps drop. No more cool breezes desired. I usually simply wear tights as they run less and keep my legs warm. Garter belts are fun but normally way to time consuming for this busy farm girl. I don't think i've worn them since going full time.

One thing I learned about tights and panty hose is scrunch them up so they are flat (with the toe point the bottom) and put them on your toes gently then pull them up to slightly past the knee. Then bring up the slack and then pull up all the way. Haven't had a run since I've been doing that. Before I'd try and stick my foot in it and then I'd get runs on the pantyhose.

But I may be stating the obvious.

I prefer leggings with a high waist. This is not tgat easy to find as a lot are made to ride tge hips more.

Still I have found a collected enough to be almost too many.

Next is a pair of jeans not jeggings so I can at least wear something femme in the real world (more RLE).

Again , no hip higgers pour moi.

Saw some awesome flair high rise jeans on line but at +200 they'll have to wait until I'm a size 12.

Ever since I was 14 and their was this girl in class that always wore these really bright tights, I wanted to do that. I want to wear all sorts of colours and patterns and so forth especially green. I'm sort of afraid that people might think I'm wearing a Halloween costume though.

Leggings are my preference with shapewear tights underneath. It's winter in Vancouver and you'd be hard pressed to find any women other than waitresses wearing dresses.
