I'm not really sure what to say about myself. I've just started thinking more about certain things, and working towards certain goals, and felt like coming to a place like this for support and just people to talk to about everything.

I'm so bad at this whole thing :P

Anything you guys would like to know about me?

Well, I chose that because I don't really know what to say. I'll say I was born a boy, and am trying to become more like a girl. I'm not sure if I should just call myself whatever I feel like, and aside from that, I'm still unsure on some things I'd want to do as well. So I'm just confused and don't know what I am >_>

Well I guess that everyone here is friendly enough for me to talk to :P. I guess I'll start telling more about myself, though I'm not sure where to start. Well, i guess I'll tell more about what's been happening recently. For a while, I've always at least thought of more more girly. Not necessarily being a girl, but at least being more girl-like. As time went on, it became more of a stronger thought, and started to develop into even more. Like 2 months ago, I started having some despression issues and all that. Didn't want to do anything or go anywhere, and had moodswings every single say. I went and saw my psychiatrist, and he helped me out with some of what I was feeling. After that, I started feeling better, but still occasionally got depressed.

I decided that like half of what I was feeling, was just my own issues of feeling stuff like I normally do, and that was taken care of, but that the other hald was I was just thinking and worrying too much about stuff. What I was thinking about so much was me becoming more girl-like. I decided that this was an issue that could only go away if I started talking to someone, so I looked around and tried to find a good doctor to see. I found a nearby psychologist, who treats stuff like depression and anxiety, but also advertised herself as having a client base which was 1/3 transgendered people. So she seemed like a good idea. Well, I didn't do that right away, I tried talking to my parents first. It took a while for my mom to exactly undersatnd more what I wanted, but once we finally made the appointment, she started to understand more, and says she supports me with whatever I feel the need to do.

So far, I've had one appointment with that doctor, and have my next one in a week. I've made progess, but it's still hard on me sometimes. It also still makes me depressed a little sometimes, but that's because I just keep worrying about it. And I also worry about getting everything I want done, and get it all done right. I keep worrying that if I wait too long, things might not be best. Like, I feel like taking a testosterone blocker or something soon, because I have stuff like a very young face, and no body hair and stuff like that, and if I do it now it'll help a lot. I also sometimes feel unsure about what I want. Sometimes I feel like I really want to make myself like a girl, and other times I feel like I just don't care.

But anyways, I'm sort of half rambling, but I'm also not sure exactly what I'm trying to say. But there's a brief idea of where I'm at right now with dealing with all of this. Hopefully it's not too depressing :P

Hey DaJe,

We all go through periods of doubt and uncertainty. I think it is wonderful that you are taking the responsible step of seeing someone about your gender identity and your feeling of depression. Simply keep exploring who you are and listening to your heart. You will find your way!

Hi and welcome DaJe.

You shouldn't feel bad about whatever gender selection you choose, no one will police that choice. Choose the one that most reflects who you are.

I chose 'female' even though I was born legally male and am still pre-operative. I also have an intersex condition which complicates matters (or makes it easier, depending on the angle). I choose female on any site wether they have a comprehensive pro-trans or pro-intersex choice or not. I prefer to explain it one-on-one if its even needed (that is mostly on dating sites, asking on places like a gaming site would be considered rude).

That is because I live and experience myself as female and nothing else.

To each their own, and everyone should feel free to define who they are and be at ease with that choice. I hope you find more about yourself and decide which category (including non-categorical ones like androgyne or neutral, if that's the case) may be for you.

Morning y'all.    Nearly winter here, but it's a mild climate compared to what most of you experience. Even so, the best way to describe the mornings lately is...nipply! 😁

What I don’t like about the dealer working on my car, yes the put the paper mats on the floor, but why don’t they remove them when they bring my car to me?  And why do they always mess with my radio settings and my electronic dashboard settings?  I get them the way I want them and they seem to want them at factory default.  Leave things like you find them!  Why is that so difficult?  And don’t tell me it’s because the updated the computer! Every time!.  And no I haven’t figured out everything yet on the new car.  I can’t even get my key programmed to move my seat when I get in and out.  It’s supposed to move the seat, the mirrors, the steering wheel and several other things.  My old Eddie Bauer was easy to program but then it only programmed seat location and pedal location.   ok now that we’ve had our rousing knock on cars and dealer mechanics.  What else shall we talk about?  Bras?  Seems like an appropriate subject for most of us.  I have several different types. Two are famous store push-up padded to are more common everyday lightly padded ant one is a no padding no strap slip and the last one is a front close longline no padding.  Now that one supports the theory that I am now a B cup on my own. I’d prefer a C but then I’m not so sure my blouses would still fit without pulling.  Ah the problem we have as women.  And sizes are never ever the same.  Oh I’m a size ??  But men I need a large shirt and 36-30 pants and they always fit.   we can’t buy anything off the rack with confidence it will fit and I hate having to take it home to try one and return what doesn’t fit.   we’ll time to do my hair and leave.   love ya   Willow

Hello we are The lake. So called because This One has not determined a name for oneself but has in a way created an environment to try out multiple names as different people. Currently Some of us use she/her pronouns and one uses he/him. We hope to learn more about being transgender and the intricacies involved. Once again it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance and we hope to be of further help in the future.
