My New Binder

I just got my underworks binders, double front compression shirts. I got a medium, and OMG my mom has to help me get them on!!!

I was wondering if anyone else had this problem, do they eventually stretch out as you wash and wear them?

It's easier to get on and off with an undershirt underneath. I think it's because there's less friction between the shirt and the fabric of the binder than there is between your skin and the fabric of the binder. I usually put my arms in the holes, then my head, all while holding onto the bottom edge of the binder, and then I can pull it down once I've got my arms and head through. It does stretch out a bit. I try to avoid washing them when I can (another reason to wear an undershirt underneath) because washing the fabric weakens the binder and makes it less effective. They do stretch out though.

How does it feel once it's on? Can you breathe OK? How's it look?

It's wonderful! I don't think I can FIT anything under it, I'm very very... fat -.- maybe if I give it a wash or 2 it'll help, cause I can't have my mom helping me get on my binder everyday xD I'm plannin to go stealth

undershirts are really thin -- if you can't fit one underneath, you might think about going up a size. I did that and it's a lot more comfy and it binds quite well all the same. i found that wearing a binder without a shirt underneath chafed, so it might really be worth it.

I had to have help the first couple times then it stretched a little. I also can't fit a shirt under mine it's too tight for that. I have come up with a way to put mine on so I don;t feel like I am going to throw my arm out of the socket in the process. But definitely needed help at the beginning. I would just sit in front of the mirror and try different way and see what works. For instance I have to put mine on slowly so it doesn't bunch, this is hard to do because I can't see when I am doing it as the binder is covering my eyes as I slowly bring it down. If not I felt like a contortionist trying to put the thing on!

I also have to have help the day following a big workout at the gym as I am too sore to do it myself.

Well,I have a Large of a different model of compression shirt an it's not enough compression. I think if I could lose some weight maybe that will help, and also it will stretch out.

I got my binder on all by myself today! It literally, hurt, trying to get it on, and felt like it was hard to breath a little bit till I got it up on right but I got it on XD now I gotta wait for mom to come home from work to pull it up under my armpit cause I can't get it up enough by myself. She's like superwoman when she wants to be "OH HECK NO I'M NOT SPENDING 7 DOLLARS TO SEND THOSE BACK AGAIN!!! GRRRR!!!" I was actually gonna ask for 2 large and a medium but mom sent them back before I could tell her. However, the medium though it's a pain in my DONKEY (yes I censored myself your welcome moderator!) to get on and off and it grinds into my sides and I'd wear an undershirt but I told my mom to give all my old spandex ones away cept 1 and the other ones I have wouldn't work for this at all..... and I can say that this is just an undershirt, which since I'm going stealth... and I'm answering someone else in this post too xD I'm lazy. and Evan will I loose fat around my man boobs when I start T? is it possible?

I think you can get a two-pack of plain cotton crewneck undershirts from Walmart or Rite Aid for about five dollars. That's what I use. They get pretty thin once you wash them a few times, but they serve their purpose well.

Mine was like that at first, I spent the first week or so squeezing it on for like five minutes every day with my arms sticking up crooked in the air like Edward Scissorhands. (You know that scene where he's trying to put the shirt on himself?)

But now it's a lot easier.
