Summer Haircut

Hey everyone!

Well, my mom agreed that I can get a shorter hair cut for the summer. At the moment I have not exactly a bowl cut but something like it. My hair is dark blonde. I'd like to get something I can spike. Thanks for the advice!

At the moment I have a long Ivy League hair cut, because I usually part my hair, but you can definitely spike a short Ivy League. It's still a pretty conservative haircut though, so you'll probably want some more folks to weigh in on this than just me.

If you're going somewhere to get it cut, you can just tell them that you want to spike your hair and they'll cut it for you so that it works when you spike it.

Some things to think about before you go: 1) you want straight sideburns, don't let them cut them into triangles or do any kind of weird thing with the sides; 2) do you want it clean around your ears? if you're spiking it, I'd assume so, but you should know before you go; 3) do you want it rounded in the back or blocked?

They'll ask you all this stuff, but it's good to think about before hand.

3 words - high and tight. Shorter on the sides but enough hair to stick up and spike on top

Just go to a barber shop and ask him to cut it and spike it. It'll probably cost around $10. Then get some hair gel and you can spike it everyday, or you can skip the gel and leave it buzzed.

Evan, like an oldschool fade?! Angie's manager said I should get a fade....crazy man. "A gumby fade with a slight lean to the right" actually. whoo.

If you go to a barber shop or a salon, ask them. They'll know based on your face shape and hair textures what will look best for you. Just tell them what you are looking for. Hip? Trendy? Masculine? Traditional? Androgynous?
