Poison from Final Fight/Street Fighter

I just wanted to know your opinion about the character Poison from the Capcom Games Street Fighter and Final Fight. If you don't know her, the original idea from Final Fight 1 was to add a female character but to avoid controversy, they made her a full transgender woman in North America, and just a cross dresser in Japan. I just wanted to know your opinion on her, if she was too sexual, or a bad representation of the trans community or if she was good.

I think shes fine really natal women are subjected to being objectified daily, this isn't much different.. Beyond that though I don't see a problem with the way she is presented.. Personally when I make characters in video games (like RPGs like Skyrim) I tend to go more for more of a darker badass look my self but I always make sure there is also a touch of sex appeal as well. One of my absolute favorite fictional character is Harle (as in Harlequinn from Batman).... tons of sex appeal.. and yet very much so badass..

That makes alot if sense to me. I agree she is a little over objectified. Don't get me wrong, I still play Tomb Raider and Lollipop Chainsaw and stuff like that, but I just take it in a humorous way. It's just an outdated stereotype that she is an object. Personally when I create my characters for RPGS, I don't care about my appearance. Using Fallout as an example, I haven't seen my character that I actually created since I started the game. Just as soon as I got Power Armor, I never took it off. So for me, when there is a character that isn't just a generic man with brown hair and 5 o'clock shadow, I consider it a welcome change.
