Well I am 26 years old almost 27. I have a wife and two beautiful daughters. I was here a few years ago my wife had found some of my clothes and things got ugly. I started seeing a therapist and got a letter to start HRT. THEN EVERYTHING unraveled my wife left my family cut me off and I freaked out and said it was stress. Eventually my wife and I got back together but it never went away just got worse. Now she found more clothes and we agreed I need to finally be me Nicole. Well I'm about to get my letter for HRT again and plan to slowly transition 1-3 years. I was wondering how much waiting till 26 to start HRT will hurt me. I don't expect miracles but don't want to not be atleast somewhat passable.

And I'm just getting started at age 53, (hrt any day now...)so I sure think you'll do ok.

hi my name is kim u can ask any thing and I try to help some people takes 6 months some 3 years y need to talk to your doc about mude swings and y think will happen to u when u go through this but u need to know it will not happen over night the most emport to talk to your famly and take it slow which is hard but think it will a big change for them they need time to get the idear that dad wants to be a girl am saying this to lessen the proms u will face

You'll do great starting at 26, I've been on HRT for about 8 months now at 32 and I'm already seeing some really good results. I rarely wear makeup and don't dress super femme but still never get misgendered these days. Feel free to PM me any time if you want to talk, sounds like my story is similar to yours except I had 2 false starts.

Thank you. I know it won't happen overnight I've begged God for that far to many times lol but my daughters are very young so it won't be that weird to them. I'm hoping to be on HRT within the next few months and don't plan on going full time for a year after
