I think it's really important, especially for newly-aware trans folks, that we recognize that there are as many ways to explore and emerge into ourselves as there are trans folks. You don't have to have a program. You don't have to have a plan. You can feel your way forward, slowly... if that is what you need.

A good comic for sure! With a great deal of message as well. I liked the cow broken into parts. Go slow and watch those steps off the curb. That express can really hurt!

Hummmm, Drag Race, errr sorry. So true though, I found I did not want to "present" anything! lol just a girlyman. Besides it's not about/for them/anyone anyway just finding the "true" me.

Thank you for posting this comic. I had seen it before but it is such a good reminder that we are all different no matter what the similarities we have. It's so easy to get drawn into others' agendas and dreams when they can be so enthusiastic about what they are doing.

I never had any particular program when I transitioned. I just embraced whatever I was feeling and enjoyed the moment that I was in.
