Hi all, just an update:

I went shopping as Callie with my wife and my mother in law on Friday! It was my first time shopping in the women's section at an actual store and I got some awesome clothes, oh,and a really cute coat.

Oh, and I took the plunge and bought a hair removal package to finally get rid of my beard shadow! The place had a Black Friday special :)

I'm getting rid of my beard!!!!!!!!!!!! Yay!!!!!

Anyone else have a Black Friday victory to share :)

Well, I got a really good new power saw to replace the one I burned the motor up on. Not really girly, but I had had to go shopping the week before for stuff to wear to our TransChorus of L.A. performance.

I was actually pleased to be a stick in the mud and stay home working on the farm. We also had a great deal of cleanup after a family dinner for 13 with all the fancy trimmings and decorations. Our guardian dog who lives with the goats was very grateful for the turkey leftovers. Poor young guy got stuck with us. Not usually such good scraps from a vegetarian family.

Hugs,

Charlize

Congrats Callie on going out shopping with the ladies, it's one of life's true joys :)

I do not need anything myself, however soul mate and I were out at Khol's last night, she bought a few tops and I was kinda looking for some longer skirts, and did find a nice one half off that will go with a lot of tops and sweathers I have, so I did add to my collection last night.

That's great on removing beard shadow, it's a long hard process for some. I've been going to electrolysis for years now, and it's almost all gone forever !!

Enjoy your goodies

Sounds like you had a great shopping trip! I don't like crowds, stayed home in my warm cozy cabin. I'm curious as to what hair removal system you are trying.??? I've been using a Flash & Go for most of a year now. It's taking longer than expected but it's working.

I bought a stainless steel pots and pans set that was originally 1600, and I got it for 300. According to my friend, you "can't hurt it and they'll last for years". I wasn't planning on spending anything since in trying to save to move out, and save in general, but those pans weren't a deal, they were a steal!
