I notice that, with the possible exception of Jon Stewart and John Oliver, no one ever airs those old Fox News and other right wing media hysterical commentaries about slippery slopes, and asks those folks where that slippery slope ever led to. Anyone seen any legislation lately to legalize bestiality???

i wonder who they will hate after the trans community?

Why, Muslims, of course!

They build their castles on beaches of sand. One day the higher power will wash them away with the tide.

The unconditional love of people will one day be our cement to seal their vaults of stone. Hug. JodyAnn

Heck yeah! They are warming up the outdated B-52s as we speak! They just can't figure out where to point them. Shaking head. Jody

Having thwarted one potential Women's Restroom trouble maker who was NOT dressed as a woman, and also helping several young children there (with their mother's permission) to reach restroom hand washing sinks, my own life of danger to children is pretty much blahh. I recently (post transition) submitted fingerprints through my church to work in areas on the grounds near our licensed Pre-School which were run at State & Federal levels to see if I had a record that would prevent me from being around children. The result was the same as it had been 5 years before I began transition. No convictions for child abuse, or sexual crimes against children.

HMMMMM!! Maybe one of our Talking Points ought to be that all of us who get a name change MUST have a criminal background check as a matter of law in all of the states I know about.

Everyone at the museum I volunteer at had to do the same. The form requested any other names I've used in the past, which I provided. There were no problems, either with museum staff or the folks at the State who processed the prints.

I've often wondered why these "sky is falling" types who hyperventilate at the thought of a transwoman in the girls restroom don't make the same arguments against Catholic priests using the men's public restrooms? If ever there was a risky group of people to be around children, it would be them. Could there be a double standard? Nah! ;)

One safety precaution I do take for both my sake and the children's sake is that another adult is always within clear sight of me when I am with children who I am not related to or where I do not have a parent's friendship and trust, both of which I have earned.

Easy does it on the RC priests, Episcopalian priests look a lot like them, and here in Los Angeles at least all of ours have background checks run by the Diocese. I cannot speak for the L.A. RC diocese, but I hope their new Bishop is coming on board.

These people betray a bizarre, childlike fascination with women's restrooms. Apparently, they find the idea

of being in one quite titillating and assume that others do as well. Why do they conflate restroom use with sexual

arousal?

I don't remember ever wanting to enter a women's restroom when I was presenting as male. I'll use one now

if I'm in female mode, but that's just common sense. Restrooms were "unisex" at a lot of bars when I was in Korea

back in the 60s, and we just took it in stride.

I am nominating you as our National Federal spokes person. That totally makes sense. Their boogeyman is between THEIR LEGS!!! Eww... That's so sick! Thank you God I'm not them.

I was not much for the altar boy-priest thing and made it clear but, I sure liked the dress! By fifth grade we knew all about it and who to avoid or not! Today, with the internet, its hard to imagine that there are many kids who have not found their knitch on the web. As far as bathrooms go, the main thing girls and women want from men is their well (?) paying job. I think that men who talk this stuff should walk into a woman's bathroom and see what happens. Their full of it and the women who say the same wish they had it.

"crazy liberals want to let a MALE shower with your fifteen year old daughter, and on top of that, that male is attracted to boys, are YOU ok with that?"

'murica!

It's ridiculous how so many of these people hate minorities under the pretense of religion, yet haven't ever read the bible, or even know how to read it.

https://www.nbcnews.com/nbc-out/out-news/judge-strikes-ny-countys-ban-female-transgender-athletes-roller-derby-rcna151806     Pretty common sense, straightforward decision.  Someone overstepped their authority - imagine that?   Carolyn Marie

PM any or several of the Moderators or Administrators if you want to have something changed due to spelling errors, or if you simply want to have an entire post deleted.  We do not allow members to edit their own posts since there are some items we restrict from being posted.  Those things are in the Community Rules and if a Staff member has removed something because of the rules we do not want it coming back.  https://www.transgenderpulse.com/community-rules/   Use the PM system to contact us and include a link to the post you want changed.

Do I ever feel? There isn't a single minute that goes by that I feel that way. I have such a strong hate for what I have that there isn't a word out there for it.

I already tried that. Either too old like 60's and 70's or married. Not many people who would want to date a trans woman in dead red Mississippi. Maybe once things calm down just get a Mustang GT and just give up on it. Both are going to bring joy and pain. At least I could learn and share my love of cars with my kids when they get that old. I wouldn't even know what to do if someone said they wanted me. I would've already been thinking in my mind they are just going to ghost me so what's the point. I just don't know what to do anymore. I tried putting myself out there online and out in person. I haven't tried a bar yet although that's probably a bad idea. Maybe just to experience it again. I haven't been to one since 2013. The only problem I see is I'm not a night owl for sure. I go to bed at 8-830. My expectations were just that I wouldn't get rejected last. I have been able to handle a good bit of it but this one really hurt. I guess that's what happens when you have some hopes and expectations. It's not like I have another friend IRL to talk about this. She is my only one. I wished I didn't put myself out there.

As one who had to deal with the Porn/Adult Entertainment business as commercial, taxpaying businesses on a professional level, I can say that they are in it for money and the highest percentage of their income comes from ultra conservative areas where adequate Medical and Mental Health Profession and University Science instruction on Trans issues are banned.    It makes me wonder how much porn literature is hidden behind the 13 Bibles and Bible Study guides on some people's family bookshelves.

Do you ever feel trapped in a body that doesn't feel like yours?

There's the old thing of getting out and getting involved in things in the community and meeting people that way. Does your church have a food pantry? Does it have service opportunities you could plug into otherwise? You might run into someone that way.
    • Ashley0616
Well that didn't go well. She said she is intentionally single. When will I just stop thinking about putting myself out there. It really hurt but rejection and getting ghosted is just my second language apparently. The one person I have told all my dark secrets and didn't run off. At least we are friends. I'm happy only when I'm sleeping and that is it because things actually go my way from time to time. Just another wonderful day of me. SMDH!

In their minds, yes, unless it is clearly, consistently, forcefully articulated by those who represent trans people that we are not.  I'm not sure who that would be.

So, this proves that we're all  pedophiles? I suspect that the majority of pedophiles are probably cis.   Yeah, Alexander the Great was probably queer.  What does this have to do with me needing to pee?   I am so tired of this ___.  I raised 8 kids and never molested any of them - unless you count changing diapers without closing my eyes.  Yeah… so tired.   It makes me wonder what is actually on these people's minds.
