I MY GET SOME PEAC AT THE END.

I HAVE NEVER SAID THIS TO ANYONE BEFOR,I HAVE A MANS BODY BUT I AM A WOMAM!

GODS THAT FRAKIN FEELS GOOD TO SAY.

I HOPE TO FIND OUT JUST WHAT KIND.

MY LIFE HAS BEEN HELL UP TILL THIS POINT AND I HAVE THOUGHT OF PULLING THE PLUG TO SEE WHAT COMES NEXT.

So glad to have you here.

I see that you have met Donna Jean, one of the many friendly people here, she's great.

We are all here to support each other, to learn and to have a good time.

It is an amazing place and I will tell you that a lot of the people here came very close to pulling the plug, but somehow this place has helped them to find that they are not alone and that people do care.

Believe that because we do.

as to the full caps that Donna Jean mentioned, it is haed to express very strong emotions on the computer - that's one way the pthers involve using colors and size to emphasize a point.

Hi Monica and welcome, I am also MtF, 57 and have been where you are. For starters you have already met some wonderful people. I am a moderator in the chat room which is also a suicide prevention site, so any time you feel down and thinking of pulling the plug or just want someone to talk too feel free to join, we have many moderators trained in suicide prevention including myself and we have saved thousands of lives. Please read all that you can, this site has allot to offer and start posting questions, i bet you have a zillion, well maybe not that many but you know what i mean.

Hi Monica,

welcome to the forums. As Lizzy wrote relax, look around and make friends.

And for the avatars click me these side has tons of it in different categories, I am sure u will find one there.

1. Right click (save graphic - I am not sure what it is in English maybe "save image as") on the pic to save it on your hard disc.

2. Click on "My Controls" in the upper right corner here

3. On the left in the new window chose "Edit Avatar Settings" and there "Upload a new image from your computer". Click on the right button (could be "search") and chose the pic u like to upload as your avatar.

4 Click on "Update Avatar" and that's it.

I hope I've missed nothing :D

Monica, I don't normally welcome people, I can never think of what to say, but I just have to tell you that was the most adorable reaction to this place I've ever seen. *gives hug* I sincerely hope you will find happiness through a transition, and we can help. oh nuts my wife just walk in seen what i was doing,she thinks i am cheating on her.

i do not know what will hapin to me now it is like 1 step forwerd and all the back.

Oh yeah that cheating part..that is the guilt ...you have to come to terms with your wife and that is so hard at first but in a short time you will see how worth while it is...believe me just tell her.the stuff will hit the fan but she'll love you more for the truth.....Don't leave us just come back ASAP...We need you as much as you need us......Mia

Welcome to Lauras, My name is Dan. I have been here a few days and have found the people here to be very helpful and caring. So please forget about pulling the plug, most all of here have thought about it or even attempted to, but it isnt worth it. And now that you found this site you will find there are so many more people just like you.

      I felt the urge to date and felt just like a teenager again. I have recorded my journal titled Ashley's Life From Start to Present. I was very moody and agitated and happy. I think it was my body's way of being in shock. After about two months it got better. Remember that you aren't the only one transitioning because your wife is too. Consider yourself lucky because I lost mine because of it and so have many others. Just enjoy the ride.

      Welcome to Lefty Land.... a festive theme park full of sparkles and unicorns, a perfect place except for one evil orange dragon wearing a blond wig.    I'm always amazed at the "flexibility" of definitions.  One person's f@scist seems like a centrist to others.  One person's "moderate" looks to others like the 2nd coming of Fidel Castro.  A normal marriage a century or two ago is now a criminal offense, and relationships that used to be a criminal offense are now open, normal marriages.  Pedophiles now want to be called "minor attracted persons" and teenagers are now defined as children.  A Republican in NY or CA would be a Democrat just about anywhere else.  I'm certainly no advocate for relativism, these are just observations.    What I find interesting about this Australian candidate is the attitude that he shouldn't be allowed to run for office.  Why?  Just because his views are different, or even offensive?  Who makes that determination?  Can an election really be open and fair if it is barred to candidates who are not "politically correct?"  Here in the USA, we can openly have candidates who are f@scist or any other thing they want to be, no real restrictions aside from eligibility requirements related to age, location, citizenship, and criminal record.

      @Birdie You certainly have more patience than I do.  I don't take it well if I get scolded.  Either I sulk or I get nippish.    We had a good Mother's Day here yesterday.  Quite an event, since 4 of my partners are mothers.  GF enjoys it a lot, because she's very (excessively?) proud of having produced her 5 kids.  Her eldest starts school this fall.  Amazing how time flies...

      Reminds me of elementary school when a kid yanked my chair as I was taking a seat. I told him to "go suck an egg" and we both got sent to the principals office. I was like, "tf did I do to deserve that?"
