Is it normal to be unable to reach the back

I've read some things that seem to suggest that girls can normally reach the back of their vagina using a finger to feel cervics (a thing I guess wouldn't be there for me anyway)

I can't get anywhere close to the end... measuring my fingers against how deep my dilators go show that it's a huge difference, almost half...

Is this normal... at all...

are there cis-girls who can't reach the back...

I don't really know but a couple of quick checks on Google get:

'lengths (measured using rods): 6.86 to 14.81 cm (2.7 to 5.84 inches)' (Wikipaedia)

and 'average length of a vagina is 9.6 centimeters (about the length of a tube of lip gloss), while the range is between 6.5 and 12.5 centimeters' (womanshealthmag.com).

I suspect you should be able to find out quite easily (and comparing notes here with others may well put your mind at rest). Don't forget that hand size varies anyway so will have its effect.

Unfortunately you would have to compare with women that have had a hysterectomy. Then you are not comparing oranges and apples.

I measured using a ruler that the dilator goes about 15 centimeters deep while my middle fingers are just under 8.5 centimeters long

I guess even if I had the average depth I likely wouldn't have been able to reach

Just thinking about this for a second or two - here is what I've come up with:-

Many ciswomen use tampons and they push inside a long way. It is possible for women to 'lose' tampons up there and need help from a doctor to remove them. So, from those two points alone - I would suggest that there are many who never touch their cervix with the end of their finger.
