Can anyone help me with registering for chat rooms? Every time I try to sign in, the message says that my account doesn't exist. This is frustrating.

Chat and Forum accounts are separate, although you may use the same account name and password if the account name is available in either area. Go into Create A New User Account and put in your Forum name and password there. If it says the name has been taken, put some character before or after your name, and that should clear things up.

No, I was concerned that if I create a new account I will lose this one. Will a new account delete this account?

No. The chat and forums are two separate entities. Changing one will not delete the other.
