How Well Could I Pass?

Well, what can I say, I'm a tad vain. When I thought I was male, I couldn't give less about my appearence. I seem to cover hatred with apathy or something. Now, I want to be as beautiful as I can be. So here's a picture:

myuglymug.jpg

It's about three years old, but nothing's really changed, 'sept I have a goatee now (if I can't go girl, I can go good, that's my motto/coping phrase). But I want to know how pretty I could be, preferably without FFS. Iknow a side shot would be needed but still, if it helps I'm often mistaken for a transman. I like to think it's a good sign.

As I see it: my shoulder are HUGE! If I had equally huge hips, I think I'd like it, but even though I'm pretty sure I have big hips for a nominal male, they're not that big. I have a wide chin but it's not big. I think I have good hair (I think I could pull off thick eyebrows as a girl), pretty eyes and good teeth, but they need to be whitened.

Am I correct? And anything that would be a fashion faux paus with my face/body type when presenting as female?

Oh boy, is it that bad?

Come on, some one throw me a bone here, I'm getting nervous!

Sorry,

I've been working on a huge project and had this computer tied up for hours yesterday and today.

There really is nothing about your face that is so 'male' that would keep you from passing - before you spend a lott of money and pain on FFS, remember that hormones shift the fat in your face also.

As for dressing tips, look into websites for cross dressers, lots of tips, but for those of us with the big shoulders - no shoulder pads unless you are going to be tackeling someone - look for ragland sleeves and follow the basic guidelines for larger women.

You can find those tips in any women's magazine - like avoid vertical stripes if...

How's that?

Love ya,

Sally

I don't know why your topic slipped down without comments. I try to catch them all and didn't see it.

So here we go - honesty and stuff

(1) lose a lot of weight - I lost 32 ponds and it changed not only my body but the shape of my face. You will be amazed!

(2) You have a great girl face as you have very little brow - good start

(3) Eyebrows need to be arched - amazing results (which is kinda semi-permanent) Open your eyes as large as possible - which is a very feminine thing to do

(4) Your nose is smaller, a good thing, and if you truly transition, it can be narrowed for a more feminine look, althouh many women have that nose and look fine.

(5) Smile - too masculine - try to dazzle! Later you may want to have your lips thickened - I do't know about your teeth, can't tell from the photo - they look fairly small, which is a feminine thing

(6) Pretty good - I see the 'TransMan' thing - very intersting. If you go HRT you will probably feminize your face fairly quickly.

Hope this helps

Lizzy

Thanks everyone. I posted this a little to feel better about myself, at the same time, I am nervous about all of this. My brothers both told me in separate conversations I'd be the ugliest woman ever. I figure the most important things for me passing are, in this order, voice, face and breasts. My hips might be passable, it's hard to tell because I'm grossly overweight (again I didn't care for years), but at least for now I a *plausibly* female butt, I'd like to get a really round girly butt, time will tell.

Nice thing is I am 5'6, which is a great height for a woman, but I would like to know something. I have heard that shoe size decreases on HRT, but if it doesn't, I can comfortably wear a size 11 in women's. Is that insanely large for a 5'6 woman or what?

You definitely have feminine features :) I think the glasses help you too. I actually look quite similar to you. I will post a pic eventually if I ever get the courage.

I think you are brave engouh to post your picture in the first place. And I hope you are strong enough to kick your brothers' asses of yours.

What's your goal to want to look like anyway? You kinda remind me of Leanne Rimes in her song Blues. Don't get discouraged.

Shoe size? I am 6'2" and I was a male 12 or 13 (depending on style) before HRT - yes - you do lose muscle, includig some in the feet and ankles - I now wear a womens 12w or a 13N. I have been on HRT 4 1/2 months. I was surprised to see some shrinkage - but the bone strucure stays about the same. But I did lose 32 pounds - maybe that was more of what happened.

Hope this helps

Losing weight will help alot, and how you carry yourself makes a big difference too. So far as I can see from your pic you've got a good start so far. Pfffttt ur brothers what do they know?

Charlotte,

As young as you are,you cannot fathom the changes that will happen on HRT.

EVERYTHING about you will change and quickly.Breasts, woman's waist, hips, thighs, bottom.

Even your face takes on feminine aspects very quickly. You will look great.

Trust Me,I have seen it first hand with some girlfriends in thier twenties.

Well thanks pioneer. As to kicking my bros asses, one I like, the other is a violent and crazy semi-psychopath (OK, he's not psychopathic, but what do you call someone who punches through glass, pulls people of cars to beat them up, drinks like Ernest Hemingway and jokingly tells his own mother he will Old Yeller her rather than putting her in a nursing home?)

But...I was tell you a semi-secret. If I had my druthers, I would like to look like Laura Branigan:

brinnigan.jpg

I'd also like to sound like her too, but that's probably not in the cards. Anyway, I say I want to look like her cause she is the most beautiful woman I have ever seen that I look anywhere close to. My nose is bigger, but we have similar chins, cheekbones and hair. Plus, she pulls off thick eyebrows beautifully, and I want to keep mine thick. Basically, I want to look like I would have if I had been born right, and she looks like the closest approximation I'm going to get.

WHOA--uncanny resemblance! I think that is a great pallate to work from, Charlotte. Her browline and smile are so striking. Just a bit of the HRT should smoothe face out very quickly to get even closer. I also think your current glasses have a delecate female feel to them, they work well with your face. You could work that look! Makeup, some new clothes... even pre-trans, I can see it.

Good afternoon,    I have a young friend who is vegetarian and married to a full on meat eater. They have two areas of their grill clearly designated for their different cooking requirements. When she’s cooking she uses tongs or chopsticks to handle any meats. When he’s cooking he respects her request not to cook her meals on the side where meat has been. They get along fine and respect each other.    When she attends our house, she usually brings her own food, but knows I will clean my grill to meet her requirements. We love and respect her commitment to be vegetarian. I love that she trusts me to make her comfortable when visiting us. There are ways to make it work.    Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

I was going to call it Numbness, then I realised well.. it isn't. basically, yeah, it isn't.   this only happens to me sometimes. I'll be lying down and my legs will.. well, I guess lock?   If I straighten them out, they will unlock- when I roll over again, they will lock again. this lasts for around 10/ 15 minutes I guess   it's not pins and needles either

so, a close friend wants to cook for me   the issue is, she is a vegitarian and won't handle meat- I, on the other hand, won't handle vegetables- hate the things   every time she goes out to the shop, she comes back with something.. a cake, a fruit smoothie, a coffee, I won't eat any of it. please help me think of something that she could make for me that I'll actually eat   disclaimer: you are talking to the most pickiest eater in the world. good luck

I think there is some truth in this.  They intend to implement Project 2025, whether or not he spends his energies persecuting the Democrats who have been persecuting him (in his view, a debatable point) and does nothing else.   I have seen numerous accusations that the document is about "Trumpism", whatever that is, and is merely a vehicle for him to become dictator.  From what I have read so far, that is the same sort of truth as the Steele Dossier, denying the validity of a certain laptop, Schiff's non-existence evidence of collaboration and a host of other things, many directly from Biden, that are simply not true.   I will continue reading it.

Wife of mine pointed out that not getting a haircut for a month looks hideous - weird bald patches.  So back to super- short buzz cut.  This morning I braced, looking in the mirror.  I look like a woman trying to pass as a a guy, maybe  a small-breasted woman with enough T treatment to grow a mustache.    I would not believe me if I read what I write about me.  This is nuts.   White t-shirt: that they sell in the back of WM so you can tie-dye them or otherwise decorate them. They are thick and long lasting and slightly fitted, so that they could be a man's.  I like them.   Jeans, flip flops.   I will no longer point out these are women's.  What else would I wear?

Quite right mate! I have been letting my hair grow out again (I cut it all off when I was 18).    I'll never look this good:    But I'll aspire to look my best! ☺️
