Gender neutral big book?

I want this:

[1] "J," A Simple Program: A Contemporary Translation of the Book "Alcoholics Anonymous" (Hyperion: 1996), 55. (A Simple Program is a gender-neutral translation of the original Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous.)

From Richard Rohr's daily meditation

This is required reading for me daily. He speaks a lot of transformation

I will always remember one woman who read some of our literature using she instead of he. From that point on i've seen how male oriented so much of our religion and literature is. It bothered me for a bit but simply knowing and accepting that as a convention rather than a statement has given me peace where i had a resentment building. I must admit to having a similar reaction to some prayers that while beautiful seem to suffer from the same gender based and religious non inclusive language. I much prefer hp either in caps or lower case.

Hugs,

Charlize

I read some of the stuff from the BB at meetings and depending on my mood I will be loose with the pronouns, and often simply say "God as we understand god" instead of the masculine pronouns. I also look at who I am talking to, and those who know I am Trans*occasionally give me a wink and a nod at my "changes" or "mistakes". My groups are not as stuffy as some, with Old Timers being in teens (sobriety wise), or over 30 years sober, and they hear what they want anyway..
