Any Suggestions?

Since I am quite new here, I figured this would be a good way to break some ice! (and I am in dire need of new songs to listen to!)

My taste in music tends to be quite picky, unfortunately. I hear my friends and family talking about how they have hundreds upon hundreds of songs, when I literally just hit two hundred songs today, after a good couple of years. And as a writer, I'm always looking for new inspiration!

I listen to In This Moment quite frequently. I enjoy Audio Machine, Les Friction, and the occasional Imagine Dragons, as well as some Lady Gaga, Red, and Caravan Palace. The rest, is just random songs here and there, which ranges from classical, to The BeeGees!

I simply wanted to know if any of you have any suggestions you'd like to share? I'd be all the more grateful!

Some of my favorites:

Carbon Leaf, Lindsey Sterling, Boston, Joe Satriani, Rush, the Star Wars sound track, and Led Zepplin. I also like Dream Theater, and most Jazz. I usually wake up to classical music, it gets my mind running, I also like playing games with it. The dual emotions of having a massive (and deadly) space battle while a calming score plays in the background paints an interesting scene. But I am a bit wierd that way, sometimes I call up Imperial March (my hero-Darth Vader's  theme song  ) when a particularly important and large battle happens.

Awesome!! I'll give all of those a shot!

And that's actually a pretty interesting idea, I never thought to do that with games before, but I will absolutely try that! I like to play Diablo and Bioshock, as well as the occasional Outlast, and I think it'd be an interesting concept to come to experience! And who knows, it might even serve as inspiration, too!

Thank you! :)

Not sure how well known this is in states but Radio 1(uk) do a live lounge where bands will cover other peoples songs. Imagine Dragons did a great cover of Taylor Swifts blank space and threw in a bit of Benny Hill stand by me. They're all on youtube if you want summat different

Another of my favourites is a scottish band chvrches (no typo and pronounced the same) they covered justin biebers "What do you mean". Their own songs "The mother we share" and "Bury it" are also very good.

I wish i had her singing voice :)
