Update

Hi everyone, 

So my journey has been amazing. I have gone full time since July 5th. I don't leave the house without makeup on. The place I do security at has been fabulous and excepts me for who I am. It is a large company that is nation wide. They have posted information on culture in their break room. I saw it for the first time three days ago and one of the announcements is on "Transgender America". I almost started crying. They also had a meeting with the warehouse employees on the topic. WOW! They are taking the time to educate the employee's. I found out that the information has been posted in all 13 warehouses. This has happened since the time I came out to them.

Great news Shawnna.  At the one month milestone things should be settling down and getting a little normal.  That's good news that your employer is being active in educating the workforce. 

I also wear a little makeup whenever I'm out to cover age spots!  Just a little with some blush on my cheeks.  I've found Cover Girl Cheekers to be good.  I have Iced Cappuccino that I mostly wear. It's a coffee like color that is discrete.  It gives my cheeks some definition without being flashy.  I also have a Plumberry which is pinkish that I use when I wear reds or pinks, or want a little more "look" to my makeup.
