Started changing my birth certificate!!

I submitted the forms, paid my $86 filing fee, and now I will wait for three weeks!!! After that, my passport is next.

I've not done that yet.  NJ requires surgery so for some time i couldn't but post op i've just let it go.  I did get my passport done right after my drivers license.  With the current administration i may well do my Birth Certificate as well just as another " protection."

Very good!  It will feel so good to have correct documentation in your purse.  Even though it was a seemingly small thing it was such a good feeling to drive or be out and not worry about it.  

 

I never did my BC because the original I have always used doesn't list a gender, and I didn't change my name.  I don't know if the state of Maine has any more info not shown on it in their books or database.  It was a loooong time ago.  I did my passport at the end of the year and was surprised how quick it came back.

Well I got the petition three days later, now I need to submit my name change and and gender change request in!!
