My sister used to teach this little girl. She talked about her all the time because she was so delightful. Then my mom was her school counselor in 4th grade - she also adored her.  She was well-loved in her old schools, but the family had to move for whatever reason (they were both really worried when it happened) and this is how their new community welcomed them. I am sad today.

Small world it seems.  The situation is becoming controlled and other sites are reporting that there is potential legal action pending, possibly on a criminal level.  I have seen a picture of the girl briefly on a private web-site I am part of and from seeing it, I can believe your description of the girl.  I saw a picture of an un-remarkable but pretty preteen girl.  Just like the pictures of other Trans Children whom I know IRL, and I just have to shake my head in disbelief at how some people get the ideas they do.  One site I saw Doxxed the people involved pretty well.  The site actually identified where they lived and what even some of their hobbies were.  The people described were not community leader material, and had community financial problems and violence issues as well.  I can see where they have to have a victim to give them a little status in life, because otherwise the facts of their lives are pretty miserable.

Yes, I've seen this reported elsewhere as well.  I have a feeling that this is going to turn out all right.  I've even read that a local ex-Marine has offered to walk the girl to school for as long as is necessary.  Someone is going to pay bigly if anything happens to that little girl.

That is was the adults making the threats make me wonder who are the grown ups here?
