I'm trying to get up and moving earlier.  The heat and humidity here is building and working outside gets harder.  It always seems a bit off that firewood needs to be cut, split and undercover soon.  After all it is hot.....winter?   The goats are all out on good pasture.  Do i really have to fill a barn with hay.  Air-conditioning calls me in.  Hard to say if it's age or E that seems to weaken me but as i think ahead this chick better get tough and to work.  Well at least a good breakfast and a couple of cups of coffee will help with todays first task.  i've got to unload a ton of grain from the dump truck.  Soon i will certainly be a "hottie".

Hugs,

Charlize

Good morning everyone.

I know not everyone celebrates Pride month.  I am remiss to say that I didn’t do anything either.  I would like to find a way to speak to people that don’t understand what we are and why, but I don’t know that I am ready yet.  But I hope if you did you helped get a message through and weren’t met with any problems.

Not quite one month on hrt so no noticeable changes yet.  I wasn’t expecting anything this soon so no big deal to me.

Have  a  safe 4th of July or Canada Day if you celebrate either.

We went out to dinner with friends last night in York Maine and had a great time.  Got caught in a torrential rain on the way home.  Had to really really slow down.  Got home safety!

Yes, the Strategic Air Command was a major command of the US Air Force. SAC handled all the bombers. 2/3 of the United States nuclear triad. (Navy was the other 1/3) It was operational from 1948 till 1992. the became Air Combat Command.  I proudly served all my time in SAC.

The museum was fantastic. Like I said brought back a lot of memories.

I didn't know that there was a museum dedicated to SAC.  I'm going to have to plan a trip to see it.

What did you do?  Were you a pilot?

Hi,  having a cup of mud this morning.

Got home home yesterday evening after a long day of driving.   We had a good time.   Our daughter doesn’t always get along with her mother.  Well, not only did they get along but our daughter actually initiated a hug with her mother.  That hasn’t happened in years.

well I’ve got a lot of chores to catch upon since we were gone for two weeks.

Hugs

I just got back after being out very late with some friends, I had to stop at McDonald’s and get an iced black coffee just to get home safely, no need to risk life and limb driving while tired !

I went out and did some scouting for a drive I want to take our little car club on, and I went to a place that I have been able to see all of my life and wanted to go to since I was three years old. Where I grew up on the California West Coast I lived near Mount Umunhum and could always see the radar station from where I live. I can remember being three years old seeing the radar dish turning up on top of the concrete building, my parents told me it was a giant bean mixer and that’s where I thought all the beans in the world came from?

I spent an entire day up on top of the mountain checking out all the sites and enjoying my first visit to someplace I’ve never been but always wanted to see, oddly enough it mirrors my transition timeline and I find it interesting that I am finally starting to do some of the things that I’ve wanted to  since I was little !

Very nice pictures, pretty scenery and girl in jeans. I drove by that area (101) on my way home about 3 weeks ago. Yes agreed on doing things or going places you've always wanted to, I think we realize life is too short.

Coffee tastes great this morning, even better because I have the day off, and everyone else is scrambling back to work soon...

A lot of buildings at an airport are the orange and white. I love investigating old military sites and buildings, well old buildings in general. I just think they are so cool.

Good looking pictures Jackie. Also you as well. Your rocking it girlfriend,

Well I just figured out at least 2 boons of being a motorhead girl?  1: dirt and grease under your nails. 2: Breaking said nails. Worked on the car a little today. Getting things ready for the stereo upgrade. I wound up breaking 2 nails. and getting gunk under most of the others.  Had fun other than that. Decided to re paint my finger nails. it is a pinkish orange 'you are my sunshine' All last week had them done in Red,White and Blue for the holiday. Before that I only had my pinky nails done so we will see what happens at work.

Have a great evening all.

Hot oatmeal and coffee in this weather?  I guess i am nuts but habit rules my tummy.  It's lovely here in NJ with flowers and the abundance of summer.

Last night i had a chance to shower and go out in a lovely summer dress.

I am feeling grateful for the chance to live as myself.  I owe a grate deal to this site.  The folks here have, over the years, helped me find comfort in being a trans woman.

Hot food/ beverages can actually help cool your body down. The reaction to the warming inside your body, triggers your body to cool the outside of your body. I will sometimes drink hot coffee or tea instead of an iced beverage when I remember this ??.

I do too! This site has helped me in sooooo many ways. Especially cause it has helped me speak out and to so many wonderful people. Being able to reach out and not feel alone is so important that it’s priceless. I will be eternally grateful for all this site has given to me.

I have to wholeheartedly agree also. This site has opened up a new world for me. It is helping me become the woman I need to be.

happy trans birthday! I can't speak personally on the subject, but I hope hormones bring you the changes you're looking for <3

That’s super healthy, to see that something that becomes common has less effect on you and that you are able to decipher these feelings.   Sadly, this trend tends to only deaden good feelings as we tend not to let bad feelings attenuate the same way.   I have noticed less euphoria, but still feel the dysphorias that I have. Sometimes the good sneaks in and reminds me, but often time it’s just me seeing myself in the mirror and being comfortable about what I see when embracing my realized self. I may not get the same buzz I once did, but I don’t feel incongruous when looking at a more “drab” reflection.    Wishing you strength, you are amazing!

Congratulations! and Happy Trans Birthday @LittleSam! That is such a BIG milestone.  I can still remember walking out of my clinic with my first HRT presciption.  I was on Cloud-9.  Wishing you all the best in the start of your new Journey!

maebe thank you I try to be. I thank God for blessings, try to share them, beg forgiveness for my shortcomings n vow to try to do better...2 priests have said no, God doesn't condemn you just for being trans...but apparently evangelicals do   I shall vtry dear thank you
    • MaeBe
Meet him at the being good to others part of Christianity. At the heart of it, there are excellent tenets of the faith. Those that condemn are judging, Jesus would have us be selfless; stone casting and all that. Are you a good person? Are you putting good into the world? If your gender is an issue for God, let God judge. In the mortal realm, let your actions be heard.

and just fi sweeten it..I'm catholic n he hasn't been for years..he's evangelical..whatever that is

Let’s stick to cite-able fact. Most of my posts have been directly in relation to LGBTQ+ rights as it pertains to P2025 and I have drawn direct links between people, their quotes, and their agenda. I have made reference to the cronyism that P2025 would entail as well, by gutting, not cutting, broad swathes of government and replacing it with “conservative warriors” (I can get you the direct quote, but rest assured it’s a quote). All this does is constantly force the cogs to be refitted, not their movement. To say that agencies have directly defied a President is a bit much, the EPA did what Trump told them to do at the direct harm to the environment, the department of agriculture did the same by enacting the administrations forced move to KC which decimated the USDA.      How about Betsy DeVoss for Education? Or Bannon for anything? What about the revolving Chief of Staff position that Trump couldn’t stay filled? Or the Postmaster General, who did much to make the USPS worse?   Let’s not mix politics with racism, sexism, or any other ism. Because Trump made mainly white, male, appointments—many of them not, arguably, people fit for service—or unwilling to commit to term. I can argue this because, again, he’s up for election and will do what he did before (and more of the same, his words).   Please delineate how the selected diversity appointments have negatively affected the US, other than being black, women, or queer? Representation matters and America benefits when its people are inspired and empowered.

When I first started figuring things out, I got a lot more euphoria. Every time a friend would use he/they pronouns for me, I'd get this bubbly feeling, and seeing myself look masculine made me really happy. Dysphoric state felt more normal, so I guess I noticed the pain it caused me less.   Now, it's more just that my pronouns and such things feel natural, and dysphoria is a lot stronger -- I know what's natural, so experiencing the opposite is more jarring than everything. The problem is, most of my natural experiences are from friends, and I rarely get properly gendered by strangers, much less by my family. I've found myself unable to bind in months due to aches, colds,, and not wanting to risk damage.    It partially makes me want to go back to the beginning of my journey, because at least then I got full euphoria. I'm pretty sure it'll be like this until I medically transition, or at the very least get top surgery (you know all those trans dudes online with tiny chests? Not me, unfortunately). It's a bit depressing, but at least I know that, eventually, there's a way out of this.
    • RaineOnYourParade
Major mood, right here ^^^    I've listened to Lumineers to a long time (a major portion of it by osmosis via my mom), so that is almost painfully relatable
    • RaineOnYourParade
As for getting a button-up/formal pants suit, you can try to talk to her more -- Cis women in tuxes have worn tuxes in recent years, after all, (for example, Zendaya) so it can still be a relatively safe topic. For jumpsuits, I'd recommend going with a simple one with a blazer, if you can -- this'll make it look overall more masculine. There's a lot of good brands, but going for one without a lot of extra glitz on it will make it look less feminine under a blazer. I don't know many specific brands though since I usually just get my stuff from chain stores, sorry :<   When it comes to your hair, if you can't cut it, you can look up tutorials on fluffing it up instead. If you can pull it off, it can look a lot shorter and more androgynous instead!
