@Debra Michelle sorry for your loss.  Even though he isn’t suffering any more I’m sure he will be missed.

I am sorry for your loss, Debra.  Even though it was not unexpected, it is still hard.

@Debra Michelle Do you mean the Fratzog?   A 1975 Dodge 1/2 ton is cool, I had a 76 back in the day.

Well had tea this morning instead of coffee. SO sore this morning, helped a friend move yesterday then braved the crazy and did some grocery shopping. My wife surprised me afterwards, took me to Goodwill and bought me my first pair of capris. Nothing too fancy just something slightly more fitted.

Good for you @JustineM.  Goodwill is a good place to find a variety of things at decent prices.   You can afford to try different styles.

Hi everyone

well I’ve started noticing an increased sensitivity in my breasts.  Not pain.  I checked my measurements and my band measurement went down an inch and the over the bust stayed the same so no growth yet but something must be happening.

started getting the boat prepared for sailing. It needs a lot of work but at least the weather is getting warm enough to do it.

My dad passed away tonight, had another stroke and was fatal. My dad isn't suffering anymore and got his wish.

Sorry for your loss dear.

If it was your father's wish then somehow that seems like it's supposed to be better, but it never feels like it's better.

Just got home. Coffee is on. My facility complimented, out of an abundance of caution, a strict no visitors policy over the weekend. Patients are eating meals in their rooms. Employees must have their temperature taken and answer some question in order to be cleared to work each day. This is our new normal.

This is my first morning working from home as mandated by my organization.  Thankful I'm allowed to work at home as opposed to any other alternatives.

Hugs,

Good morning

We are staying at home out of an abundance of caution.  Unfortunately our son and daughter are both in fields that put them at risk.  Our daughter is a nursing supervisor at a hospital and our son is an airline pilot.

The counties around us have all report at least one case but so far ours has not.  Good news bad news, we are mostly retirees.  But since it’s spring break or schools are closed, we get lots of visitors here.  Myrtle Beach thrives on spring break and summer vacations so this is hurting business for them.

guess I’ll see about working on my boat today.

That sounds like an appropriate way to handle his remains.

Good morning everyone!

I ended up sleeping in two shifts of four hours each. Tossed and turned in between.

I've been depressed and worried a lot lately, and just can't seem to climb out of the trench to get going.

To further explain, I had bought a nice enough house on a small mountain for my home and studio, but then a wildfire nearly burned it down. Thankfully it was saved although they stopped the fire about two feet from the house, and my deck was burned.

Fearing a repeat of that, I found a house in town that had a suitable layout.

However, like many houses in the Ozarks, the humidity in this house tends to linger at 70% most of time. I have a plan to tackle the mould that wants to eat everything, structure included, but have to wait for warmer weather. It also turns out the house in town is noisier than I'd like.

So it's back to my original plan, only removing a dozen or more trees so I can create a firebreak. Plus trying to tackle some space problems by adding on to the mountaintop house.

I feel a little less down and overwhelmed this morning, but it's difficult to break the inertia of just sitting and letting the wheels spin in my head.

And yes, coffee is made, so it's time to get a cup.

First day back to the gym today. I didn't do as much as I have in the past because I'm still full of sutures. Everyone was happy to see me and my maiden flight in the ladies' locker room went off without so much as a hiccup. Ann actually followed me in while I was getting changed to come home. I think she wanted to be sure nobody gave me a hard time. It was very sweet.

Had to leave early so I could come home, shower and dilate. Not a bad outing though. I got in about a half hour of cardio and an hour or so of (light) weights. It feels good to move around again.

Hugs!

@Debra Michelle My deepest condolences. Our thoughts are with you today.

@Jackie C. Now that’s encouraging. Just getting a little bit of your regular routine back is good for you...or even being upright for the matter.  Take care hon.

Well, it’s early here...7:40am and the coffee is on.  I’ve had a lot of time on my hands since the world around me is shut down because of the outbreak.  For at minimum of six weeks...no work, no gym, no church, can’t even shop as the stores are mostly empty here and no one in our community or friends are socializing including my wife and I.  Even though I’ve had idle time and should be thrilled with the possibilities, my motivation level has dropped considerably. I guess this will pass but I’m hoping things return to normal.  Hope you all have a great day!

I just heard from my chiropractor. Apparently the governor is calling for a closing of gyms, restaurants and something I don't remember at 3pm today. Darn it. I just got BACK to the gym.

I'm staying home as I have respiratory issues.  My son offered to shop for me.  I don't envy them as school is closed in their city and he and my DIL are working form home for now.

@TammyAnne I understand about the noise when living in a more urban setting.  I am rural and value the quietness of it.  Taking down a few more trees, while not desirable, may be the solution to the issue at your wooded home.  I couldn't tolerate that level of humidity though.  Take care and try to think positively.

This might be coming from higher up...same thing here in Washington State.  I was doing this anyways due to the high infectious rate here.

Good Morning All,

So I am at work still trying to "social distance" myself but it is difficult as I need to go everywhere at any given time. Yikes.  VT is up to 8 confirmed cases with another 4 reported just yesterday.

It seems like a ghost town here though and hospital access is very limited.

All not cases or appointments that are not urgent or critical have been cancelled as is the same for elective or non critical surgeries.

That last one scares me because I am a month out from mine and OMG I will just die if they do not get this painful lump out of me.  The Bilateral Orchiectomy is an after though to that surgery and yes I am still hoping for that too.

Anyways, from an hospital employee; stay safe and wash your hands for over 30 seconds now not just 20 seconds.  Over 60% alcohol to kill Corvid in hand sanitizers and the masks don't do much as it is a small droplet transmission not airborne.  Unless its in a sneeze so I suppose it can be considered "airborne" then.  Doesn't hurt o wear them.

I hope everyone has a wonderful day!
