Well I’m still dragging my tail behind me but I did get my 1st cup of coffee in already. I seem to have contracted a head cold this weekend, but a cup of black coffee seems to have melted the gunk in my head for now. I’ve been maxing out my Tylenol doseage, don’t want to hurt my kidneys...  but I’ll probably need another cup once I get to the office and slog through my day ?

Just rolled my happy arse out of bed. Actually slept in some, a whole 20 minutes. Coffee is nice a warming going down.

I hope today is going to better that yesterday. Most of the day I had one of my old muscle tension stress headaches. also the flee feeling. Just up an leave, but it wasn't like normal. It wasn't because of fear of loosing my job or anything bad happening. As when I usually have that feeling. I was feeling down for some reason and just wanted to run away.

Hi all!

Ahh, good ol' vacation time! Did some hiking and exploring yesterday. Leaves are starting to turn colors, and it was a breezy, crisp autumn day!? Today's cloudier with a chance of rain, so plans are changing.

Lots of love,

Timber Wolf?

OK, I admit it, I’ve been laying here for an hour hitting the snooze button, it’s time to turn this thing on and make Some coffee come out of it so I can get up and get going. Today at 3:30 I have to go see Dr. Rodrick for my top surgery consult, I have no idea what size of anything I need other than the fact I’m looking for the most normal possible thing to just blend in with the crowd, wish me luck.

 Hugs,

Jackie

Me too.  No snooze button, but I just kept rolling over to the other side whenever I woke!   My wife texted me at 6am.  She's in Hawaii on vaca and couldn't sleep.  It was 3 am there.

I just ate an English Muffin and had a cup of coffee.  20181018_114524.thumb.jpg.f2ed1418856f3351c01a370789404f19.jpg

I just saw the Mail carrier stop at my mailbox.  I guess its time to get the day started.

Good afternoon everyone. I'm drinking the 4th or 5th coffee of my day and will probably have another 4 or 5 before going to bed tonight... I hope I can sleep! LOL

I was in the Fantasia Fair fashion show last night. Had a great time! A few more days and it's off to home again. It's soooo nice to be able to live as myself now. I transitioned to Julie full time on Oct 10th!

Enjoy your day!

What a nice photo of your bird Marie.  I used to have parakeets (Budgerigar) when I was younger.  I loved them.

I can't do that much coffee any longer, but I wish I could.  I'm happy to hear you're enjoying yourself at Fantasia Julie.

Bad pun, Jani. Well my first day of a three day weekend. Today is also my 33rd anniversary. I hope will be more once I come out to her. The wife has to only work about 1/2 day. I also have an appointment with my counselor. Hopefully not my last with her. She is moving out of state. hope to squeeze in one more next week.

We are hoping my middle son and his family will come and visit this weekend. If he can't make it we may go there.

Hmmm...  antigravity coffee, that is an interesting concept. I didn’t have any coffee this morning since I didn’t go to the store last night and get eggs. I’ve been trying to kick this cold to the curb since Monday and while I’ve been slightly successful taking large doses of vitamin C, I’ve also been living on chicken noodle soup, so that’s what I had for breakfast, no coffee this morning, maybe I’ll have a cup at work today??

Jackie, that's a non-sequitur.  Eggs have nothing to do with coffee!

I think I get it. She was going to get coffee when she went to get eggs. She didn't go to get eggs, so she didn't get the coffee either.

Alex, I'll take "What does Jackie mean" for $300.

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ?

What does Jackie mean for $300?

I think all of my friends play this game on a regular basis !  What I actually meant and this might be a surprise, was that I had nothing to eat for breakfast and didn’t feel like having black coffee with nothing else to put in my stomach. However since I did go to the store last night and get eggs, bread and salad I still did not make breakfast with eggs this morning, just two slices of toast with butter along with that black cup of coffee since I forgot to get Coffee creamer, lately I like the Italian sweet cream, but your garden-variety vanilla is good too!

Since I’m up early this morning I’m  headed over to see an old friend, he gets up early to start his day, I don’t think he knows what sleeping in means ?

 Hugs,

 Jackie

Well today was great, my middle son and his son came for a visit. Had a great time with my grandson. Later me and my youngest son fixed the door hinge pins on the drivers door of his explorer. So even accomplished something today. Weather was fantastic 60s with blue skys.

Good morning all!

Supposed to be a beautiful day today. Clear skies, crisp air. A perfect autumn day to be at work. Only problem, the breeze is supposed to be coming from the direction of the waste water treatment plant, so it could be a little stinky.?

Lots of love,

Yes that would not be nice!   Its sunny and breezy here.  I'd like to go out and start moving the leaves that have fallen but it may be too windy.

Hi Vidanjali, both of my parents had pasted on in their lifetimes.

Oddly i often feel i pass but then bump into someone who reads my past attempts at maleness.    Last week at the market a man spoke me as i went back to my car.  I heard "You are beautiful"!  Odd!!!!!  Then he said something about marriage and i started to get worried.  Turned out he is married to a trans woman.  He was sweet and probably is tuned to trans folks but it was a bit disquieting.     Hugs,   Charlize

I decided to power wash our back porch and the porch furniture so the uniform of the day is a skort, t-shirt over a sports bra and flip flops with my hair pulled back into a ponytail.

It's been touched on in another thread, the perception that the folks who scream loudest in favor of free speech are also the loudest in wanting to stifle the freedom of people not like themselves.

I wonder if the LGBTQI+ umbrella should be split? Create separate entities for LGB and TQI+ folk?    I have no doubt that some cis het people probably think that sexuality and gender identity are the same thing, for whatever the reason, not necessarily willful ignorance. It would be natural for such people to observe that both LGB and T folk are under the same umbrella, so they must be the same, right?   Just as (and I know I'm making some pretty big assumptions in this post) some cis gay folk would think that the LBGTQI+ umbrella is pie - give trans people a slice, and somehow, they will miss out. Just like cis het folk might also think that their lives are somehow being diminished by allowing trans people to have basic human rights.

Suppressing your emotions because you’re afraid of them can be bad for your physical and mental health. Here’s what to do instead. When a toddler feels a “big” emotion, like anger or sadness, they tend to have a big tantrum on the floor. And these tantrums can be a lot to observe, full of thrashing, screaming, and tears. But a child reacts like this because the emotion they’re feeling is uncomfortable, maybe even painful.   Of course, as adults, we feel emotions too, and those feelings can be just as overwhelming, uncomfortable, or even painful as they were when we were children, even if we don’t let ourselves react in such a big way. But, sometimes, in our attempts to not give in to our emotions, we go too far: we run from them or suppress them — even if that harms us in the long run. Although there are many reasons we might suppress our emotions, one of them is that we are afraid of our emotions. Fear of emotions is called “animotophobia. It is not an official term in the DSM-5-TR. Still, fearing your emotions can have a significant impact on your well-being.

@KaitSo glad you are here. It's never too late to talk to your doctor. bI was 68 before I stopped lying to myself and talked to my doctor. He or she might be able to help. It may be easier to find an endocrinologist you specializes or a health care group who specializes. You might also seek out a therapist who specializes to help with HRT resources. Psychology Today can help find therapists who specialize. Glad you are here. WELCOME.
