After 8 Months, I'm Fully Out Finally Full Time!

Hello Transpulse!  It's been a while since my last post but I thought I'd share some really good news and a personal milestone.  A lot has happened in my life since then but I'll give my friends here the cliffsnote version.  The last 2 months have been a whirlwind as I have been busy coming out to every one I know...Family including siblings, my 3 daughters, my 7 grandkids, my cousins, nieces and nephews, dozens of friends and neighbors, and now the world at large.  There's been lots of texts, emails, phone calls , visits, etc...  It was always painful before the actual disclosure but so very rewarding in the end.  All but one cranky neighbor has accepted me as Susan and most are very affirming and supportive.  That neighbor is another story for another day.  Interestingly enough, I think most people enjoy Susan's company better than my old male self.  Overall, it was freeing not only for me but for others too.  I had so many people share their secrets once I revealed mine.  It's sure a crazy world we live in.

I have been getting closer and closer to being Susan full time.  Up until today, I would still take precautions before leaving my home to do errands, shopping, doctors appts. etc... to cover up my femaleness.  I would dress in an androgynous fashion with sunglasses and a men's  jacket and sometimes even wearing men's jeans over my ladies jeans.  It all worked but what a hassle every time I wanted to leave my home!

So as of today, I'm officially full time as myself.  No more hiding and no more pretending to be male to please others and conform to their paradigm .  I hope others here beginning this process have as much success with the 'coming out' part of transition as I did.  It was all worth the trouble.

Wonderful update Susan and I've been following some of your steps as you've marched toward full time, come out to your extended family, and now you're here. Full time is where you let your hair down and just live, no more switching back and forth, what a relief ! Congratulations on this milestone, very happy for you :applause:

As for the neighbor lady, I take it she is acting just as predicted.

I like your new avatar picture btw, how adorable...

Hugs

Susan I have been waiting for an update from you as you have not been around much.  Congratulations on going full time.  As Cyndee notes no more going back and forth, you can just be you.  What great fun!

Wonderful avatar photo!

Hugs, Jani

In an amazing turn of events, my neighbor lady friend just left our home after spending the last 2 hours with us.  She has made a complete 180° turn on me being Trans.  I'm not sure what specifically changed in her mind but it is nothing short of a miracle.  I have seen her write people off for much smaller issues.  My wife and I are both close to this neighbor lady friend and waited to tell her last because we were 99.9% sure she would reject us both.  She came back over to our house this afternoon with a complete change of heart.  Apparently, she says she loves me and does not want to lose our friendship.  I almost started balling but I held back the tears.  We have had some great times over the years but with her conservative Christian stance, I thought this could never happen.  My wife and I are still sitting here stunned.  I had written that relationship off.

@Cyndee @DeeDee @Jani Thank you all for the kind words.  It's nice to hear from you all again.

Good afternoon,    I have a young friend who is vegetarian and married to a full on meat eater. They have two areas of their grill clearly designated for their different cooking requirements. When she’s cooking she uses tongs or chopsticks to handle any meats. When he’s cooking he respects her request not to cook her meals on the side where meat has been. They get along fine and respect each other.    When she attends our house, she usually brings her own food, but knows I will clean my grill to meet her requirements. We love and respect her commitment to be vegetarian. I love that she trusts me to make her comfortable when visiting us. There are ways to make it work.    Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

I was going to call it Numbness, then I realised well.. it isn't. basically, yeah, it isn't.   this only happens to me sometimes. I'll be lying down and my legs will.. well, I guess lock?   If I straighten them out, they will unlock- when I roll over again, they will lock again. this lasts for around 10/ 15 minutes I guess   it's not pins and needles either

so, a close friend wants to cook for me   the issue is, she is a vegitarian and won't handle meat- I, on the other hand, won't handle vegetables- hate the things   every time she goes out to the shop, she comes back with something.. a cake, a fruit smoothie, a coffee, I won't eat any of it. please help me think of something that she could make for me that I'll actually eat   disclaimer: you are talking to the most pickiest eater in the world. good luck

I think there is some truth in this.  They intend to implement Project 2025, whether or not he spends his energies persecuting the Democrats who have been persecuting him (in his view, a debatable point) and does nothing else.   I have seen numerous accusations that the document is about "Trumpism", whatever that is, and is merely a vehicle for him to become dictator.  From what I have read so far, that is the same sort of truth as the Steele Dossier, denying the validity of a certain laptop, Schiff's non-existence evidence of collaboration and a host of other things, many directly from Biden, that are simply not true.   I will continue reading it.

      Who, precisely, are "they"?

Wife of mine pointed out that not getting a haircut for a month looks hideous - weird bald patches.  So back to super- short buzz cut.  This morning I braced, looking in the mirror.  I look like a woman trying to pass as a a guy, maybe  a small-breasted woman with enough T treatment to grow a mustache.    I would not believe me if I read what I write about me.  This is nuts.   White t-shirt: that they sell in the back of WM so you can tie-dye them or otherwise decorate them. They are thick and long lasting and slightly fitted, so that they could be a man's.  I like them.   Jeans, flip flops.   I will no longer point out these are women's.  What else would I wear?

That is all that is necessary. I did the same thing. I must have gotten something wrong.

Quite right mate! I have been letting my hair grow out again (I cut it all off when I was 18).    I'll never look this good:    But I'll aspire to look my best! ☺️
