I recently saw that more businesses are for giving us protection than are against.  In one sense, this is just one among many, and I have read enough of the stuff on this to know it is convoluted and confusing from a legal stand point.

The same thing happened here in my city. There was a resolution voted on to give protection to lgbtq people against discrimination but even though it won, a revote overturned it by a slim margin. Instead, businesses created their own policies to counter the discrimination.

These legal battles are beyond my pay grade.  The moral issues seem clearer to me but then again any decision can affect me and others in the trans world.  It is unfortunate that the right to discriminate for religious or personal beliefs is seemingly a right at all.
