I just found a great corset shop in town that welcomes and carries items for CD an TS. They have everything from really great breast forms and wigs (two items i have been dying to get for awhile now) to tops, skirts and dresses, bras, panties, stockings, panty hose, nighties and of course shoes (with sizes that i can fit into)! I can't wait to go and pick up some items in a place where i will feel comfortable trying things on and asking questions from the sales staff! I'm so excited that i will be able to get some great heels and boots...i've spent half the afternoon checking out shoes on their web site !

Sounds like you've got a good shopping trip planned - limit how much you are going to spend - that shop sounds dangerous for the pocketbook- they probably sell them too!

YEAAAAA - go for it!

Be cautious about cost. Like any specialty shop they may have high prices. No reason to pay $100 on the same shoes you can buy at Payless for $29 (Look up Payless on the internet. They have larger size shoes - you can order them and have them delivered to your local Payless store for free).

But best of all you can try clothes on and see what looks good on you - not to mention find out your size.

Hi ladies...the store is in Edmonton (home of the world's largest shopping mall it is a pretty big hike north about 320 miles to the border (the highest latitude city in north america with a metro population of over 1 million people). Unfortunately alot of the tops and skirts and stuff are more fetish type stuff (latex, patent leather etc.) ...but they have some really cute panties and bras...and of course shoes. And i can't wait to get the breast forms and a good wig that will help me feel so much more complete. Anyways, that's all the info i have for now.

You will find a lot of fetish stuff in the trans friendly stores because they are a large part of the transgendered community and therefore a good portion of the sales.

While you may not want to wear any of that, it is there for some who need it and that should make you happy - think about how hard it was for you to find a store that was accepting of your needs.

So go in and buy the things that you need and just be glad that there is a place that cares enough to carry all of the things for everyone - you can buy tops and skirts almost anywhere but even plus size shops that carry up to 8X sell shoes that stop at 11 - How do the 8X woman balance on those tiny feet?
