Is there a way to do this?

i am so fat fingered still and don’t see my mistakes under after I post.  (sigh)
As for my profile I would of liked to change my gender to MTF vs Grnderfluid.  I don’t feel as confused on that any longer.
Thank you

I don't know directly as we have access you don't and always see that view but the edit tab for your post is just below the text to your post if you have it.

With your profile, if you go to the top right of the screen and click on your name, then on the displayed list 'account settings' this will bring up a screen. On this, to the right of middle there is 'Edit profile'. Clicking on this will take you to the editor. NOTE: As I said above, I am not sure how much access you will have (an admin would know), but please let us know if you cannot and we can sort.

Thank you!

I was able to change my gender preference and I feel better.

I will try an edit the next time I post.  I assume there is a time limit on just how long you can edit before it gets set in stone for all eternity.  LOL

I am not seeing it.

I hate to post misspelled words or some random auto correct mess like when you text on your phone and hit send before you read it.

Oh well.

If you need to edit something, contact a Moderator.  Any of us can do it.  You can see who's on-line at the moment by checking "Who's Online" at the bottom of the page.

It would never be that important.  I just fat finger stuff sometimes and hit Submit then I am all OH NO look at it!

It would be nice to just be able to go in after the fact and fix a word or two.  No biggy.

To us on the Mod/Admin staff it is that important so don't be shy about it.  As you have found out, you can edit your own profile as you change.

We do not allow members to edit approved posts since sometimes staff have edited out material that is outside our Community Rules and when it was free for all edit people would put the forbidden information back in the posts.

As has been said, editing of your posts are not allowed for the very valid reasons stated.

However, rather than simply hitting Submit, just give your post a quick re-read over, make sure it makes sense and (your) fat fingers (or my inability to hit the right keys in the right order/or the darn keyboard sticks!) haven't messed up what you where trying to say... I'm just as guilty don't worry.

As an alternative, consider downloading Gammerly or even Grammerly (told you my keyboard sticks)! It's a really neat tool and works with Firefox, IE, Edge and Opera and checks that your spelling is up to snuff, even helps check for missing or extra commas!

I completely agree. I certainly understand the need for the editing rules too.   I mostly use my phone to post so that’s my biggest issue.
I suppose I just need to slow my roll.  Lol

Nope.  I live in a rural area.  Pride events are for city folks.  The normally quiet LGBTQ+ club kind of changes atmosphere during that time, and things get a bit political.  As a non-Democrat, I avoid it.

For me, definitely the size thing.  I'm 5'4" on a good day, and 100lbs.  I can pass as a teenage boy, but never for my real mid-30s age.  And since my husband looks older than his age, I'm often assumed to be his kid.  Or folks think there's something illegal going on.      Also, my lack of the typical aggressive "masculine" demeanor.  I don't really desire the typical masculine social role, nor could I do it even if I tried really hard.  I'm usually quiet and kind of timid.

I am sorry for your struggles. I cannot empathize, but I can surely sympathize. I wish only the best for you!

No, they are the only provider of services I need an my area. 😑

My size. A lot of guys aren't 5'3" at seventeen. My hands. It's a less noticeable one, but my hands are very "feminine"? If you know what I mean. My voice. Very high-pitched. I don't just sound like a female, I sound like a little girl sometimes My chest. I've had to stop binding due to frequent aches doing so, and it's not nearly small enough to just cover with baggy clothes My family. They still call me she/her, so that's an automatic out. My anxiety. I might be able to pass better if I had the courage to correct people. Instead, I'm too scared to speak up, so I find it hard. My lack of men's clothes.   Anyone else have these problems, or other ones?

From what I have read and heard most people are so.busy with their everyday lives and either looking at their phones or in a hurry to notice you out and about.

This exactly ^^^   I actually really liked games where I was required to play a male character. It felt homey, in a way.

Anyone play war and order on their phones?
    • violet r
I can relate.  I have always played a female character when given the opportunity. Not really and reason except I just alway pick them since I was young

Yes, our little town is having its 3rd annual Pridefest. I've volunteered the first two years  from setup to tear down (though I do take an hour off to eat and drink in the middle).     Then I attend a bigger one a couple towns over that has had some decent entertainment from some semi-famous folks (Laura Benanti, Patrick Wilson, Carmen Carrera, Judy Gold, etc).    This year I made sure to ask off of (weekend) shifts to attend a 3rd one where a group I'm in is in the parade.

Hi Vicky, I agree with you, so far since the time I've been under the new treating doctor's care, she prescribed me medication, but it's for children lol  luckily  my pharmacy warned me from a phone call not to take the medication.

Welcome to the party, M.A.     Sounds chaotic haha, I can confidently say that living with only two children the same age is stressful enough, much less three!
