Adjusting very well

Adjusting very well to post op life.I love my new vagina already and should of had it done in 2001.Don't regret changing my decision at all.Mom and my son Tyler were there for support.Had my GCS on Monday and things went great.Mom was a little tearful and I told her she won't miss her unhappy son she had once.Did understand.My oldest brother called too and told me good luck.Then it all happened,rolled into the operating room put under.My mom was worried for 4 hours pacing and my son told her sit down.After the 4 hour surgery,doctor said everything went well and she has a daughter now.I did rest up good,mom and Tyler came to see me the next day.It was painful at first and did walk the halls with help from a nurse.The exciting part was seeing down there for the first time and I loved it tearing up a little bit and the test was on Thursday urinating for the first time.It stung a little bit and no problems.I had visitors come see me and I was glad they seen me.Two were the pastor and his wife from the church I go to.They got me a get well card and were glad I made it through.Two of my good friends Jessica and Racheal came to see me,got me a card too and wrote something in it.Wrote a good message in the card too and I loved it.Wrote this in it and I loved it:

Debra,we know that you are completely happy now and see you as one of us.Watched you struggle in pain in the past when we knew you as "Adrian" and we cared about you a lot.When you came out,we told you we are still friends no matter what happens in life.You have found your true self,you are one of the girls just like us now.We both don't miss "Adrian" at all,all we want to see is you happy as Debra now.You made it through even from our support,we never let you down and have shown it.All we want to see you is be happy with a better life,this has happened and a much better friendship has happened.

Came home today and have my dialation schedule figured out.I can't stay home,will come home from work in the afternoon.My husband loves it,he knows no sex yet and have to wait till April for this.My female friends,we have a girls night out scheduled to celebrate my new life as a woman next weekend.
