I have had the most amazing weekend with concerns to coming out.  The very best couple days since I’ve come out at all.  
Recap since Friday. 
I had recently come out to my two children , four of my very male friends ( picture big Burly lumberjacks with breads), one ex girlfriend and  my upper management at work.

Not only was everyone completely sorry for my lifetime of pain snd suffering they all 100% support and accept me.  I’ve had such an outpouring of love and kindness it’s hard to explain.  
The total shock and elation and relief is overwhelming.   I have not smiled and cried so much in so long.  
Then I had a long heart to heart with my wife ablut all this and my transition and my future plans both near and far off.   Total acceptance and a lot of super smart womanly advice on so many things. We talked a lot about our marriage and it is on a steady unchanged course for the time being.  
The word divorce is still an inevitably one day but our relationship will continue much further beyond that.  
Then she took me shopping to Bath and Body Works and we took advantage of a huge 75% off sale.  She bought me a ton of nice lotions and soaps.  I smell pretty now. Lol
I feel like I have been given my life to finally live.  
I am not out to the entire world but like I had said in another post.  I’m am casting that information on the cosmic tides to flow where it wants to.  
I feel like I can be me finally.

Shawna, I love how things are going so well for you now!! I'm sorry your wife won't change her mind but what can one expect? Sexual orientation is like gender identity, and it's wrong to expect others to change because we're want them to. (I'm preaching to myself here)

I don’t want her to change.  I love her as she is.  She still loves me but can not get past it becoming a lesbian marriage.   Being super close friends and roommates is something she can do and I am thankful for that.

I'm really happy for you, SL.  With spouses and other loved ones, compromise is often necessary and often the only way forward that doesn't turn into a disaster.  She has a right to what makes her happy as much as you have a right to your happiness.  If you can find a middle ground that works, then my bonnet is off to the both of you.

I'm just happy that everything is working out between you and your kids. You've got a support structure in place, your job is secure and your wife isn't throwing things at you or calling you names. It could be better, but it could also be a lot worse. You're gathering your confidence, wiggling out of your cocoon and drying your wings. Next step, you need to learn to fly.

For now though, bask in the sun, and get yourself good and ready. You'll know when it's time to launch and it will be glorious.

I'm so happy for you! I know how it feels to take that terrifying step coming out to those we care about, and the joyous relief of finding their acceptance. It's something you will never forget. Congrat's!???

Great news Shawna.  As a former member here used to say "Slowly slowly catchee monkee"   So there is hope for your relationship with your wife to stabilize and work out in some manner that is good for both of you.
