Lightly floral perfume advice please!

Ok all my Beauty Queen friends out there can I get some advice on getting a new scent or perfume that has light floral scent to it?

I unfortunately have none to go on and with the way shopping is cut off completely other then food and essential items I can not just go browsing my fav scent shops.

I'm limited to ordering something but no idea what.  I like floral scents but being in the hospital setting I can not have something over powering.  But I need something.

No spicy scents please.  I wore spice scents my whole life as a guy and I'm pretty much done with those.  Maybe in the future but not now.

I'm also not looking to spend hundreds either. Duh right.

Like as little $$$ as possible really but I know you get what you paid for.

Thanks in advance for all your suggestions..

I know this isn't perfume but, I love Bath and Body Works. If you shop online they have full descriptions of the scents they carry. They have body soaps, lotions and sprays. There is literally something for everyone. Maybe this will help. Not trying to advertise but they are great for sight unseen choices. Into The Night and Thousand Wishes are my two favorites. Hope you find a favorite of your own. :)

Go to either ULTA or Sephora and get their Rewards Cards which will result in some mailers with scratch and sniff samples in them.  Only problem is you will be getting the mailers for a long time.  There are scents in the s&s that are pretty nice and fit what you will need.  There have only been a couple I have received that were competition for a skunk.  I hesitate recommending a particular scent since they do react to your own body chemistry and you have to try them out.

Do be careful though, I had a couple mailers with the S&S in them that hit the floor and skidded under my rolling computer chair which set the whole bunch off at once, and my front room needed four hours to air out. Pungent was the phrase.

Yes it is hard to find scents with on site shopping being what it is. I used to go shopping for perfume with DD1.

Some of the Britney Spears scents are light. Go to her web site for a description of what they are. I am fond of her  "Perogative".  I got a bottle of CK Euphoria from my daughter and I gave it back. It was too strong for me.

I know it is not cheap but you only need a little but I use Chanel #5 to me as a floral scent it is the best but I'm elderly and tend to old fashioned in my taste.

I use Scentbird to sample different fragrances.  Scentbird is one of those monthly subscription things where they send you a new fragrance each month.  I like Michael Kor's perfume of the same name.  I am currently using Kate Spade's Walk On Air.  One of my favorites, but not so floral was Nanette Lepour.  I tend to go for the parfum fragrances, due to the fact they have the highest essential oil content, and they totally last longer.  Scentbird mails you these little spray bottles which are supposed to be a 30-day supply.  They last me a little longer.

The nice thing is  you get to pick your fragrances and create a queue and they have information on what oils are in them, so you can kinda get an idea what they might be like before you add them to your queue.  I am not a big fan of lavender, but i really go for berries, bergamot, musk, and several spices.

I think my brain has changed on HRT.  There are several of the scents i find absolutely intoxicating when i put them on in the morning.  I think my sense of smell has developed due to the HRT.  I am not sure.  Anyway,  I love my perfumes.

I just thought of a possible idea that could be fun as well. If floral's are something you love, you could try going to a botanical garden and just searching about for scents which catch you. If nothing else you get to see all the gorgeous flowers and enjoy a lovely day outdoors. I have found that most of my favorite floral scents are also plants which attract butterflies. Odd maybe, but I love butterflies too. ?

Chanel #19 is nice, too... not too strong but lasting.  Would probably be best in a light spray for clinical settings.

For me that's Lilac!  It's such a delicate scent.  Jasmines make nice perfumes, too.  Gardenias are stronger.  Not a big fan of Lavender but many people are.

Lilac is a beautiful scent. I think lavender is like the undertone to a stronger flower when it smells best like verbena and lavender.  I never get to really find out what other people think of my different scents I wear. I know people smell them sometimes because of some of their reactions
