From Bone Marrow?

That's cool. That might mean we could have our own genetic children without getting pregnant, or donating out female organs. :o and MTFs if they don't save sperm it would still be possible for them.

Yes, it is my understanding that donating bone marrow is among the most painful donations possible - OUCHY3

that would be really great, but kind of frightening too

Cause every time you have sex, not only would you have to worry about getting the girl pregnant

Even worse- you'd already know the baby's gonna be a girl :o

Or perhaps Turner's syndrome? Cause you could have XX and XO sperm or something

And I guess you could hope for a trans guy.

So it'd be awesome awesome awesome awesome awesome just for having, but not for reproducing if you want boys, I'd think.

Why would you hope for that? Hoping for a trans kid? I would hope to not have trans kids.

Also, you can't have XO sperm, and XX is rare error.

I'm so confused.

Can yall help me out?

Yes. Wherever you go, there you are. Does that help?

Also, the sperm determines what sex the child will be. Females only have X chromosomes, so that's all they can contribute. Anything (I think) made from a genetic females cells is just going to have X chromosomes. Males of X and Y, so the Y chromosome on the sperm is what determines if the kid is going to be male.

Turner Syndrome is when there is only one X chromosome...no extra X, no Y. It causes some badness.

Turner Syndrome: Wiki

There are all kinds of other chromosomal abnormalities...like Kleinfelter's Syndrome...XXY. There was this combo move on a video game I was playing on Xbox that was XXY. My friends thought I was weird when I'd yell "Kleinfelter's Syndrome" when I'd use the combo on them. I don't think they got it.

Are you less confused now, Seth?

I meant the trans bit as a joke *cough*cough* because as I'm XX (afaik), I don't think I could create Y sperm out of that. Hence no boys, and I'd be stuck with girls. Hence would need an XX boy to have a boy. But I don't think there's reason to hope not to have trans kids either. I'm sure there's some redeeming quality that makes being trans worth it... and if anyone finds it, please tell me.

Also I meant to type X and O sperm, not the fertilized egg versions.

HAHAHAHA! That's awesome.

And kind of. I'll just leave all the genetics to you and everyone else.

Well Gosh darned, no unprotected sex for me then.

Please, be careful what you do with your bone marrow. If you break your leg, someone could get pregnant!

Only females can have turners syndrome.

Sure I am in the minority but I would never want my children to be trans only because I would never want my children to experience the pain and confussion I have felt. Of course I would support them if they happend to be bit its not something I'd wish for and find it very odd any one would.

Just remember: Pain is temporary, pride is forever.

At least that's what my old university band director used to say. And he should know. When I was in the UW Marching Band, Playboy Magazine called us the best marching band in the country.

That's true as long as there's not a girl involved. :)

I’m a lefty. Learned to be a bit ambidextrous for certain tools that assume right handedness like scissors, but couldn’t write with my right hand to save my life.

Tangent, adjacent, opposite...  It's still rock n' roll to me.  I don't know about the "in god we trust" part of the money, but I like the lady with the scale.  And then I look left at the Indian statue on my mantel of Guanyin feeding a drop of liquid to the dragon at her feet.  In god we trust?  The lady with the scale?  Maybe this is too binary.  And then on the other side of Guanyin is that kind of pelican wood bird that sits two feet tall that I hauled back from South America through the Panama canal.  The beak broke in 1998 and I carefully saved the pieces (as I usually do) and attached them back about a decade ago.  I used a drill to make a small hole and then put a finish nail in there.  Then a hole on those two pieces that needed to be attached.  Upper and Lower beak.  There is still a seam showing.  I could cover that up, but the beak is a bright yellow and well, it's better with all the pieces in place and I don't mind seeing the crack.  I guess that is the tangent and the other two are the opposite and adjacent. -money  Why don't coders always code the "-" action in their search fields?  It's not that difficult!

Definitely points to learn and keep in mind.  A bunch of stuff I had put in mental "cold storage" thawed out a bit there and ready again to run through my mill.  As said, a bit long and as usual from her a tad bit challenging.  Overall I see it and can use it as a working hypothesis.

Yes,I hate that     Also finding out I might be father of a 24 year young lady.I had an one night stand with a woman off base when I was in the army.Called this afternoon and said I am possibly the father of her now 24 year old daughter.Told her I will agree with a paternity test that will be done.

Yeah.  I like Nebula, that was where I watched it.   I posted the YouTube cause I figured more people could see it.

We agree on most of this... and the church/state thing is kind of a tangent anyways. Oops. LOL   I think it has long been established that all different kinds of groups have access to public funds. In my opinion, either everybody has access or nobody does. I would prefer "nobody."   Relying on public funds gives the government the power to take it away, and puts that power in the hands of whatever group controls the government at the moment... the news article that is the topic of this thread shows a clear example of that happening.  Organizations trust government at their peril.

More info on Abigail Thorne here: https://go.nebula.tv/philosophytube and, Dracula's ex-girlfriend, on Philosophy tube.   "The reason why Nebula is so cheap for what it is, is because there's no upper hierarchical group looking yo skim off the top. Imagine how much cheaper EVERYTHING could be if it was like that for every other service or product; if the money went straight to workers, not up a chain of command until it reached someone who did exactly "jack" to produce what's being sold.

I'm aware that the young US ended up fighting a war with these people, and that phrase was not meant to address Church & state.  But somebody was willing to include it at the time.   I am also aware that your family arrangements would not go over well with most christian nationalists.  But that is kinda where I'm coming from on this.  I believe you and others of us with an unconventional lifestyle should be free to live as we desire - as long as we are not hurting anyone else.  And by "hurting" I don't mean only their feelings.   Using christianity to justify oppression is just wrong.  As is forced conversion, or forced conversion therapy.   Regarding public funds, LGBTQetc people have as much right to them as straight-cis folks.  I'm not arguing that queer people have more rights, just equal rights.

Even better news:  It turns out for my sister it was cardio not stroke. She’s put on new blood thinner and sent home. False alarm! Yay.
