First Surgery Letter...

Hey, all.....

I'm walking on air.....

Why, you ask?

Well, Thursday my therapist said that he felt it was time to present me with my first of two letters needed for surgery! OMG!

So he is preparing that for me now!

I'll still need to do RLT and get the other letter.... but, I've hit a milestone in my journey...

So the surgery is still 18 months at a very minimum, but there is light at the end!

(and, of course, there's still that pesky money thing)

that is so great! now the money thing - maybe we could convince your boss a few more times that he still owes you your bonus - unless he actually keeps records and documents stuff like that

we could have a giant bake sale and give you all the proceedes I probably shouldn't bake or we'll lose all the money in refunds

we could have a car wash and put all the money we make into your surgery fund - this just won't work in areas where there is a water ban - again we would lose money in fines we would have to pay

I feel incredible...I love you all so much....my life has never in half a century had SO much meaning...

And now, Lizzy, I'll have a paper that says that I can cry legally and I won't have to do it on the sly anymore...

And I still refuse to regret not having transitioned years ago....there is nothing to gain by that!

I'm happy now in the present and for the future!

Sally ...If I got a winning ticket...you suggested it so it's 50-50!

That's what happens when you are forced into a large price jump during a depression - money is tight and this 'so called elective' surgery can wait.
