I am becoming a Picasso

I installed on my new iPad an application called Happy Color. You paint with colors just as we did when we were small children.

 

Every night on my bed, I simply am making "paintings" by coloring. If you permit me, I share a painting that I finished.

@Dinaki What a colorful image!  The accomplishment of finishing a piece of artwork is a very therapeutic and relaxing feeling. I bet it puts you in the perfect mental state for sleep after you finish one of these. How long does something like this take to finish? Thanks for sharing a part of yourself.

yes indeed, it took me several days even though I was nights on working.

I wonder if there’s a similar app as this Happy Color where you can import your own image and then have the app re-render it into a colorable outline for you in the same fashion.

My wife on occasion does her puzzle app. It allows her to import any image and make it into puzzle of any size and number of pieces. An coloring app that does what I’m suggesting would be much harder to accomplish for developers but it’s obviously doable.  I think it would be really nice to color images of family members, pets, etc...and then send the images to them via email or what have you.

Yes! @Dinaki That is the exact app I was talking about. Thank you. I might give it a try. I figured someone would’ve made an app to do this by now.

I think I spoke too soon...it does a lot but does NOT change the image to Color by number. If you’re an artist and good with color, you can freestyle color it. But I was trying to go from Digital Image > Color By Number.

I like that!  But why would she be holding on to a weasel????

I searched on line and it is not weasel, it is an ermine dear Jani!

Not according to the link!   "Ermine are small carnivores in the weasel family (Mustelidae).  The major identification challenge is distinguishing ermine from long-tailed weasels and least weasels."

 

I know it has nicer fur than a "normal" weasel but still... 

 

I would have thought the woman in the painting would have held a cat or a dog!
