Purple is one of my favourite colours  It does seem slower to load since the update, but it loads and that is the main theme. Thanks for all your hard work.

Assuming there isn’t too much change with the current default Light theme, I have one suggestion. The major headers on the right margin of the page (e.g.; Topics With Zero Replies, Member Statistics, Today’s Birthdays, Posts, etc...) show up in a white font which is a nice contrast with the new dark purple banner where it resides. Unfortunately, the major headers on the Left margin of the page (e.g.; Site Help, Issue-Specific Support Forums, General Transgender Forums, etc...) have the same dark purple banner but the font inside is black and almost unreadable. If the font inside these left margin banners were white also, It would be consistent and much easier to read.

NOTE: I forgot to add that a couple of left margin headers at the very bottom are correctly colored with a white font (e.g.; Who’s Online, Who Was Online, Today’s Birthdays)

@DeeDee yes, I think it is (was) slow too, I raised this with Piper, our server guru yesterday and she is working on it, hopefully it will soon speed up.

 

@Susan RAgain, yes, I'd noticed this and after a bit of exploring I've found the right screen to make a change and the right section on said screen to change it to white.

So weird! Just instaled a new plugin and that too destroyed the CSS for the default theme.

 

HOWEVER, I have figured it our how to restore the CSS easily and I'm putting it here as an Aide Memoire for myself.

 

Go into the theme CSS editing page, re-save it, this fixes the CSS.

 

Likewise, if the update destroys the ADMIN panel CSS, openup a backup of the site file, browse to forums>admin>templates and upload acp_templates.css file.

That's where the forum gets its look. So the colours are there, stuff is in the right position and not all in one column with no formatting.
