Alternative Therapy

I have taken up Rock Painting as a means of getting closer to Agnes. I always wanted to draw and paint, wasn’t very good at it and was afraid to indulge in it while repressing my identity.

 

what sort of activities do the other ladies engage in?

 

here’s what I did today. Any thoughts for a saying or message to put on the bottom before I release it into the wild?

Hi Agnes, I write and produce music, write fiction, and keep a journal. I can't say that any of those activities is especially ladylike, but I feel they all get me closer to the essence of me. Keeping a journal, especially, has been invaluable during this coming-out time. I do it every morning after coffee. A chair outside on a porch, in a garden or (as in my case) outside a cafe is the best location. You rock!

My alternative therapy is to share my feminine side with the rest of the world.  The day I decided to be social and step out of the closet liberated me from all the baggage I had been dragging around for so long.  Despite not transitioning to full-time, the time I do spend as Sally out in the world is always extremely therapeutic.  I couldn't be happier.
