A coming-out dance of joy

It's never easy, this coming-out thing. But I've done that with an old friend who I've had a complicated relationship with. We've both made passes at each other in romantic terms in the past and I'll always love her. Especially now that my coming out has explained a lot of our miscommunication. Finally, we can each say the word love without being misunderstood. Because we both accept each other and all our quirks and faults. Too bad she lives in the Caribbean and we can't see each other very often. I'm curious to see how we'd do in person now . . . but for now by voice or text, we can do a bit of dance with each other.

Coming out to the ones you love can be such a gift.

Yeah, @Charlize I can see it in my dreams today: "I can see a dance to a plane and a flight to the Caribbean in the future."

Also, feeling more confident today after being ill for several days—sick from the wrong meds that got changed by my doctor. I dropped those pills and feeling better each day. Such fight to feel normal . . . in so many ways.
