A Different Kind Of Clothing

Does anyone here fancy the less standard female clothing such as sexy clubwear (dresses), lame skirts/dresses or spandex attire? And what about sexy over-the-thigh boots?

I was wondering if they're comfortable to wear and if they look good on a male body.

Sorry, Dear, I've never fancied that type of clothing. I always tended towards conservatice skirts, dresses and business attire that an "average" woman would wear. I know they must be popular though, because that's what I see advertised heavily on CD clothing web sites.

I do like sexy clubwear, though I dont fit much of it. I have a sexy silk mini dress which when I put it on dont wanna take off ^_^

Not big on shoes much although I do like a short school skirt, white frilly knee-socks and school shoes.

I really doubt any of it looks good, but it certainly does feel good lol

AB - I'm with you - I ordered some thigh-high black 4" heel boots this week, I'm into the short skirts (hee hee, KM has legs!), and I've been working on my body (lost 25lbs, toning) so as to be able to pull off the pretty clothes I like. I do not dress my age, per se, but I dress sexy, and sometimes sexy is a little naughty! Most of my dresses fall to just above my knees, and the ones I picked up at Goodwill (great bargains - $5 skirts, dress, blouses, some very nice brands to be found) I have shortened to my preferred length. If I was a real woman, maybe I'm a narcissist to a degree, but I'd flaunt my body a little with my clothing, and that's how my thinking on this is oriented. I think my gallery photos have me in a short skirt and heels, although I need to update with some new images. Maybe when the bad girl boots arrive!!

Kisses - KM

I like to wear a wide variety of clothes. Something casual for around the house, stockings showing a little bit of leg & garter-belt with a short to mid-length skirt if I'm having a night out at a club. It really just depends. But isn't that one of the really great things about female clothing? There is so much more variety and choice to wear. Male clothing is often very boring indeed I think. Its so much more fun and easier to "personalise" one's appearance when en-femme. :)

Wearing the thigh high boots tonight - mm! My shaved thighs look lovely and long in some tall boots! I was looking at 5 1/2" heel red pumps on the internet this afternoon, longingly!!

Kisses!

5 1/2" heel! That must be a challenge. :D

4" is my best so far, and even that takes practice.

I guess i have some more work to do.

BTW I have a varied taste in womens fashion and don't have one style that i prefer over others.

It all depends on what affect you are after

Well, if you're trying to pass then I guess this would be the wrong way to go. The differences between male and female bodies become more obvious when less clothing is worn. As for comfort, I highly doubt it is.

Personally, I prefer a more conservative look. Sexy yet unrevealing.

That's got to depend on your body type. I have a pair of high boots (4" heel) that I wore the one time I went out - last year's National Coming Out Day - and got a ton of great compliments. Worn with a great little dress...was one of the most fabulous moments in my life!

Well, yes, I do, however, I think like some of the previous posters that I'm sort of beyond that now <sigh>, but maybe in my Gallery of past years and outfits, I might slip something like that in. I do suspect that for comfortableness, be prepared to spend some money as there are lots of different price ranges and I believe the less expensive you go, the less comfortable you may find them. And good luck to all of you on heels, I've gotten up to about 3 - 3 1/2" and it gets a little more difficult as one goes. Higher than that and I don't think I could take it anymore.

Photos posted in the general forums are visible to anyone or anything. Photos in the gallery are visible only to members. non members cannot see them.

You’re welcome, Vidanjali. Now I have to actually start writing!

Society is preserved by passing on proper roles for people, which works for the 90+ percent that it works for.   We were all taught from an early age that breaking out of the classification was a shameful thing, even when, actually, it is not.

I'm probably showing my age.  I haven't looked at a guest count in a long time.  Doing FB and staying off forums for a while.  Previous forum use had fewer bots if any and guests were actual people, mostly, unlike today.    Any AIs or bots struggling with GD are welcome.  I would love to read your introduction.

I've seen this on a lot of forums tbh. That's how a lot of content ends up on internet archives. You've got loads of bots scanning the site at all times and archiving it. Forums are actually nice (in comparison to social media) in that the guest count gives you a pretty good idea of how actively the site's content is being archived. Basically just don't post anything you don't want archived.

Kids are resiliant with therapy and strong support ;-)    They were all elementary age when their dad died and are teens now, and how they've grown and developed as young people, already, takes my breath away.   I'm working on communicating changes clearly and without shame, which is difficult basically all the time because of feeling guilty over doing gender "wrong" for so long. Working on that myself! <3

Allow me to add that people should think twice about posting pictures of themselves, with the facial recognition software that is out there.  Those in stealth or who are not fully out may discover they are suddenly and unwillingly fully out in ways they wish had not happened.

Funny how when i read the topic name i thought you were asking about the study of plants and animals.  I'm a bit into that as a farmer at va time when a cell phone makes plant  for insect identification easier than it has ever been.    Now on to your topic.  I don't farm in the nude.  I have wondered at whether i would skinny dip as i did as a kid without thought of how my body might affect others.  The effects of hormones makes me different from the average person and perhaps i'm "neither fish nor fowl".  I would certainly depend on who my fellow passengers on that cruise would be.   Hugs,   Charlize

This is also a relatively small forum and it can take a long time, seemingly, for someone to get around to replying to a post.

I am also pretty sure that several of them are folks who are "trans curious".  Sometimes folks who are trying to find their own identity, are attracted to trans folks or who are simply interested in the trans community.   There may also be some who wish to do us harm which is why ......... I've just learned to smile figuring "i'm on candid camera".   I'm sure many of our younger members never experienced that show so my age is showing.   Hugs,   Charlize

Most of those "guests" are web bots from China, Indonesia, France etc. looking us over. They are mostly benign.  All they can see or gain access to are the general forums.  Members should be careful not to post anything that could readily identify themselves such as real names, addresses, phone numbers, etc. They do not have access to our gallery, blogs or private messenger. They seem to haunt all forums. Not just us. I should add that they can make us known across the internet. That's how prospective members find us. Google would be a good example.

Heck I didn't even know they could go up that high! I just have a four burner and one to keep stuff warm. What kind of pies did you make?
