Coming out to my social worker was the best thing I did today.

My social worker made a home visit with me today and when I added the fact of my transition, she totally got it about my situation. It was so affirming to hear my name used and my situation understood. I instantly got an ally I can count on. So cool. Asking for help of the right person can be a huge life changer. Letting go of the fear is so liberating.
