A little note first. I write a lot but no way am I actually good at it, but there's that slightly narcissistic part of me as a teenager that likes to post my bad writing. This I just wrote now in a few mins after watching the last episode of my fave show, the x files. The basic theme of the show is the supression of truth and eventually the colonisation of earth by aliens (supression of humanity) and I saw parallels in my recent life so wrote it.

Prepare was nerdiness factor 9...

Truth: A Tribute

Stumbling, seeing a light so far away.

Knowing that there is truth, that there is more out there that I don’t know, but being kept from it.

Conspired against, the shadow government.

Men in black, ruling, controlling from behind the curtain, under the mountain,

Making sure that every step I take is away from the light,

Everything I learn is wrong,

Everything I believe and work towards is worthless, a fool’s errand.

Black helicopters, without labels, pilots hidden but masters’ known.

People who used to be trusted, reveal their true face, shape-shifters, working for the suppression of humanity, or the protection of their own.

Files destroyed, reports rewritten, they manipulate my fall for my search for the truth,

Removing it,

Rewriting it.

They don’t want me to know the truth,

Don’t want me to believe,

Don’t want me to know what they know,

That selfish syndicate helping those that wish me destroyed.
