Will testo-boosters work for ftm?

I`m into gaining muscles, and I`m really curious, if the testo-boosters, that you can legally buy, work for ftm guys. It is said, that in biological men it will increase the production of testosterone. The female body also produces a small amount ot testo. So it might work. But before spending any money on such products, I thought I`d ask, if anybody has any experience with it, and was it good experiences, or rather bad ones?

You need to talk to your doctor or pharmacist about this and use these under their supervision and advice.   I just had a twice yearly review with a pharmacy specialist where I was told that two of my OTC favorites conflicted with other medications I am taking and constitute a danger. These would be considered non-prescribed medications which Community Rules 13 and 14 would cover so we really cannot discuss these on the Forums here.  Be safe and ask this of your Medical Care Team.  What may work for you could kill someone else.

As a personal trainer? Don't. Just don't. The OTC stuff doesn't actually work and can still mess you up. Stick with a good exercise routine and watch your diet. That'll give you best results until you can get on T administered by a professional.

Oh, sorry, think you misunderstood my question. I`m on official hormone treatment since 2005. I just thought such substances could help gain a little more muscles. But I`m not sure, if they would work in ftm. Also I`m not sure, if they really work in anyone.

@Jackie C. is solid in what she is saying above here.  A friend of mine whom I just checked with says lifting the containers of the stuff gives more actual results than the product inside, but lifting up all the money you would save NOT buying them will do as well.

Gotcha. In that case, if you want more muscles, you're going to have to work for them like everybody else. Of course, you're on T so you're cheating (wink) so you'll build them pretty easily at the gym. That's a good habit to cultivate anyway for all the other health benefits and this is coming from a trans-fem who decided that she enjoyed being strong.

Ok, thanks for your advice! So, I will skip those products and train some more ;)

@Jackie C.I think you can still be strong. There are lots of strong women out there!

Sweetie, I can bench my body weight. I'm an absolute beast. I just have to work harder for it.

Hugs!
