Can't See Well?

I know I can't be, I know I am not skinny, I know I am not thin at all.

I have huge hips and thighs. DX

I just wish I could be 100 pounds or something.

But my mom told me I would look disgusting since I have big bones.

My collar bones stick out a lot, thats the only thing I notice really.

I have no binding device DX I fail, I'm even wearing three sports bras and still, it looks like im not. DX

Hey Evan-kun,

I don't know what to do for the actual body (other than, y'know, T)... But these tips might help you "pass" when out and about in general.

First off: if you can find a way to get a proper binder, do it. If possible, get one from underworks possibly in the form of a masculine t-shirt or something to also help shape your full torso. That'd help a lot.

Second: You're wearing the wrong color pants. No seriously... See, by wearing a dark shirt and light pants, there's huge contrast and the eyes are dragged towards the "shocking" brighter colors, so people are more apt to notice the hips. If you do your best to keep your pants *darker* than your shirts, it'll help to "slim" them and will also bring less attention to them.

Third: The collar of your shirt is too low. Don't wear them so small that you're choking yourself... But try and get a shirt with a collar that is closer to your collar bone. It's just a more "boyish" style for some reason, so it'll help.

Fourth: Skin tone. Your skin looks to be all one tone (which I find to actually be pretty hot on both sexes >_>, but anyways), when most guys actually have a pretty uneven tone not just in the face but on arms as well. As weird as this sounds, you might want to use some makeup/foundation that is -close- to your skin tone but just slightly off, and learn to apply it in a few spots in such a way that it makes your skin tone more (but not totally) uneven. Also, making your face slightly darker will help too, and you can even use some light eyeshadow in the proper spots to make your brow look more rigid. I'm not sure how much you'll want to follow this fourth step but I just thought I'd mention it. Oh and, if you do decide to do any of this, also note that male faces have more bumps and thus make more shadows on the face and neck. You can use eyeshadow to "mimic" these shadows in the appropriate locations (below the jaw, below the brows/near the eyes).

Good luck!

you look good to me, weight wise. I don't see why you'd need to be any skinnier.

As for binding... if you need help w/that it'd be good to know about how big and everything and I could see if I can come up with some suggestions. You can't really tell in the picture that you're not, it's just the cut of the shirt. Try baggier, especially in the arms, and higher neck like Eth said. In fact, pretty much just follow her instructions since they're really good. Although I wouldn't try the makeup as I'd guess you have to be super skillful to make that work.

hey Evan, you should look up big brothers binders. they can get you a binder for about 5 dollars. all you need is a paypal account....though, you are 14...so not sure you can set one up. but, hey, if you look it up, i'll buy one for you (heck, it's only 5 bucks). you might not realize it right now, but binding is a HUGE confidence boost. and Eth is right about the masculine t-shirt and darker pants...

but, for real, look up big brothers binders, and hit me up. we can definitely hook you up with a proper binder.

I think you look good. Your not overweight and 100lbs is too small. You seem to be at a happy medium.

Eth mentioned skin tone. Myabe it is just where I live but us guys wear t-shirts ALL year round. So we all have "farmers tans". I'm not sure if it helps or doesn't help with passing or not. Just thought I would throw it out there.

I'd recommend getting a binder and guys shirts. Eth mentions the contrast between dark shirts and light pants vs. light shirts and dark pants. I would just get guys pants maybe a size bigger in the waist. I wear dark shirts with light pants constantly and I pass with it (but they are guys pants). About the light shirts, when you get a binder depending on the shirt and if you have an undershirt on, some white/light gray shirts with the correct light (or wrong light in this case) will show the binder lines. I stay away from wearing light shirts as much as possible but doubling up on white t-shirts helps. wearing the a-cut tank tops helps too.

I hope I was some help.

Do you think the reason you hate your hips and thighs might stem from your transgenderism like maybe you REALLY hate them because they make you look female and you want to look more male? Idk cause that's what happened my whole life where I didnt like my body (and had a lifelong eating disorder cause of it) and I learned that I really hated my body because deep down I wanted to look more female. IDK just wondering if that's what's going on with you. :/

They are thinking of Loudon.  The problem there was the girls were not protected from a known predator, who was moved from one school to another instead being effectively disciplined.  Outlaw school administrators? <sarc>

How ironic.  I agree with the governor "“You cannot change your gender; you cannot pick your gender…there is a confused group of people that somehow think you can,”    - we are what we are, we are fighting the fact we CANNOT change our gender, which we did not pick.  Many if not all of us would not have picked a trans condition and have sought to evade, deny or move out or resolve it anyway we can.  Those who are confused on this issue are not trans folk.  They want us to change our gender but they deny we can.  Confusion.

@FinnyFinsterHH no one can satisfy your questions about what will the future hold. But I can advise you to slow your mind down as much as you're able. Take it slow and one moment at a time. This advice goes beyond the practical reality that that's truly all you can do - further, try to enjoy each moment. It's clear you have a lot of aspirations regarding transition. But it's best to try to accept the bounds of your life circumstances at present because if you develop worries or even resentments about them, that will only make you bitter and more anxious. Instead, try to focus on anything you find affirming. Practice positive self-talk and give yourself affirmations too. Try to let go of expectations of your family members - they can only deal with change to the capacity they're able due to their own life conditions. Allow them grace as you wish they would allow you. Practice patience.   Try this exercise - read through your post and make one list of the positive developments and another of things you cannot control (including the future). If you have a sense of spirituality, offer the second list as a sacrifice to however you understand a higher power - leave it in their hands. If you're not spiritual, then offer it up to hope. Then throw that list away. Keep the list of positives and leave some room on it because guaranteed you'll have more and more to add. Look forward to that, but don't let your mind think it can rush things. Try to enjoy the ride.

I still have not read much of this.  Very little of this document pertains to trans folk.  Some of the statements are more than problematic concerning trans folk.   It certainly was not written just to get us.   " those with gender dysphoria should be expelled from military service."  and "Reverse policies that allow transgender individuals to serve in the military. Gender dysphoria is incompatible with the demands of military service,"  https://static.project2025.org/2025_MandateForLeadership_CHAPTER-04.pdf are two lines out of hundreds if not thousands regarding the Department of Defense, targeting trans folk in an almost off-hand manner.    So if a fighter pilot, say, or a ship's captain, highly experienced and trained at enormous expense, is determined to be transgender (method unknown) the US loses someone badly needed due to the personnel shortage who is ready, willing and able to perform their duties.  Many trans folk have served well and transitioned later.  I don't think this point is well thought out.    A number of policy recommendations I would disagree with.  I am not sure there is a method to discuss those with the authors; I am attempting to find out.  I have good conservative creds.    They are fully intending to implement this, regardless of who the president is, as long as that president is conservative. It is not Trump centered.  I don't think he had anything to do with it.

I wear a Delimira Mastectomy sleep bra with Vollence sleep rated breast forms. The form fit inside pockets so they don't touch your skin. I bought the bras on Amazon and found the forms on eBay. They were much less expensive than buying through the other sources.

@LittleSamCongratulations on one of the biggest decisions. Looking forward to your progress.

I don't wear a bra to bed.  The girls aren't big enough to need it, but still enough to appreciate.  Just a flannel nightgown suits me fine.

Yeah, that is the point.  And of course they can be proud of themselves for saving humanity.   Yeah.  That would be scary.  I'd find a bush somewhere like our GOP governor candidate recommends.  So far I've gotten away with the women's.  I've been told I pass better than I realize.  But it would only take one a55h0le.   This is all so stupid.  I mean, who gets off on hanging out in a bathroom?

Oh yes. It was not fun cleaning it up but he is better.
