ISP blocked?

April Marie

Recommended Posts

Help! After several days of occasionally being unable to get to the forum, I now get a message of Forbidden You don’t have permission to access this resource.

I was able to log in by signing in using my Cellular network on my phone, not my internet provider.

I don’t think I did anything to be banned. Did I?

Was my domain blocked for some reason?

I have had that happen to my email.  When it happens it usually means that your service provider has been blacklisted because someone on it is spreading spam or other unacceptable content.  It is up to the service provider to identify and block the bad guy and then to try to get reinstated.  It is in their interest to do so, since it inconveniences all their good subscribers.

Nope, you are a member in good standing, hon.  As to your ISP, you'll need to contact them if the problem persists.  This site has been the subject of recent DoS attacks, but we've defeated them at every turn.  But we know they'll try again.

I removed the IP block on this IP as it was likely a false positive. I will keep watching the ISP however.

I, unfortunately, am stuck with one of the worst ISPs in the country which means I’m probably never going to see this resolved. I’ve had similar problems before and have never gotten any response. Since I can’t continue to use my phone data I’ll probably end up leaving the forum. This has been a lifeline for me - I’m tearing up just typing this.

Keep me in your prayers. I love you all - hopefully I’ll get back on at some point.

I'm sorry you got nabbed in the net I had to throw to keep the server alive, but it has been a struggle recently as the bad actors have been very consistent in their attempts to render the site unusable and the goal is to keep the site alive for everyone.

I understand completely. You have to do what's needed to protect us all - way too many bad actors out there. Where we live the only other choice is to go to satellite internet - and Star Link doesn't yet cover us - and Hughes Net just doesn't to be a better option.

Thank you, again, for helping me. But, I know you have to do what's necessary for the good of the forum and all of us.

Quick side note, you might have been accidentally blocked again for a microsecond, and if you hit the server at that moment, I'm sorry. I removed the blocks wholesale to try and implement a way to report false positives (which I'm still working on) and the server got slammed so I re-did the blocks and then removed you from it again.

Sorry about that!

I had the same thoughts. It was a very sad experience since I couldn’t think of anything I might have said or posted. Was my computer hacked allowing someone else to post as me? I love everything about this site and don’t want to ever want to be taken out of context.

I’m glad it was just a glitch in the system.

Oh, I am so thankful - truly this place was lifesaving for me early on. Unfortunately, I'm still getting bounced from time to time - error messages and the server timing out - about 1/2 of the time I try to post or read something.

But, I'm still here and thankful to have you all as friends!!

They tripled their attack today. I've been fighting it for the last 3 hours... Taking a break as the storm seems done for the moment...

Wow, I thought I was lost again. The verification process seemed to work and then threw me back into the Forbidden category. Thank you again for keeping us safe....and keeping me connected to this wonderful community.

We can but hope! Mind you, I’ve been unable to access the site myself all morning (my time) until just now.

I am so thankful for all their hard work - and sad that the haters of the world make it necessary.

I am very thankful to the Admins for keeping us safe here.  Sometimes I lose access.  Sometimes it's the bad guys taking down the server, and sometimes it's the Admins blocking the bad guys and I get caught up in the blocks.  But it's all good when I can log in in the morning.

I know what it is like to try to keep a server up in the face of relentless attacks, so I am very appreciative of the job the Admins do keeping it running and keeping the bad guys out.

I got a big smile when you were all here this morning.  That alone is one of the best presents an old gal could get on her birthday.

Thank you

Happy Birthday Charlize, you and Carolyn echo everyone’s thoughts and thanks for the Technical Support Team that keeps Transgender Pulse Forums active. I recognize daily the fulfillment I receive from this network of friends. Of all the social media platforms I’m on. This one is the most important to me.

Thank you everyone,

Whew, I was having the same problem much of the weekend: Forbidden, etc. Thanks to all for keeping this site up. It has been a lifeline for me of late as I sort through stuff...

And glad that we don't have to lose @April Marie because she usually posts such uplifting content... 😁

Yeah, thanks for all your work.   I was having roubles too.  I don't know what I'd do without all of you here.

Thank you to the Admin teams for fighting back and restoring service. xx

p.s. I just checked over on Susans site which I once used to go to and it looks as if that has been hit.

So this seems to have been a concerted attack on transgender sites. The state of things right now

      Biden's woke agenda?

I wonder if there will be law enforcement procedural shows coming this fall. I can imagine Law and Order: Genital Crimes Unit, or perhaps, FBI: Domestic Genitalia. Then again, maybe they will dedicate a CSI program about the dedicated members of the Oklahoma State Police Genital Screening Unit. Good to know that those Oklahomans have their priorities squared away.

Protections? Well, when they mandate that some who is transgender can get facial and genital electrolysis paid as it is essential to affirming care, or when they mandate and pay for facial feminization surgery, speech therapy/voice affirmation surgery, I will believe that the order is effective. One of biggest hurdles for many transgender individuals is the cost of care. I remember when my one insurance company tried to say that my speech therapy and voice surgery were "cosmetic". I remember when they blocked paying for my facial surgery. I remember the fight I had to get electrolysis. These procedures could save someone's life if the procedures help the individual successfully transition, and are no longer misgendered.

I don't think it should be.  Nor do I see Project 2025 as pushing Christian nationalism.

The agencies are supposed to work for him.  The problem, as conservatives found out in Trump 1, was they will ignore the president and do their own thing.  The agencies are supposed to be under his control.   Congress delegated some of its law making authority to the agencies, which is another problem.   The bloated federal government needs to be trimmed.  Dept Education is worthless - test scores have dropped since it was instituted in the Carter administration consistently, and it is currently implementing Biden's woke agenda more than doing anything else.

I hope to eventually wear a suit for dance but don't know what exactly to look for. I feel like jumpsuit is safe option but I have been interested in wearing button up and formal pants. Is there a certain brand i should look for or sites I should look at for tips? My mom is not exactly keen on me wearing too masc clothing like suits just yet but is okay with jumpsuits. Also is there hair styling tips availible, my hair looks like image below. I might be able to get shorter haircut like pixie but am not sure yet.

It’s never been about him, but he is the Presidential nominee for the Presidency that starts in…2025. I don’t see a lot of conflation that this is a “Trump doctrine”, it a doctrine that benefits him surely, but it is a plan to instill crony governance and enact very Christian conservative (if not purely Christian nationalist) “order” on the country. If you don’t see this as the Right doubling down on Big G government, I don’t know what to tell them. Getting rid of agencies and giving the authority directly to the Executive isn’t shrinking government. It’s consolidation power.
    • MaeBe
It is the made up ideology they believe trans people are pushing on the world, those “poor young girls who are being coerced into believing they are men” and the “perverts who put on dresses and think they’re girls”. The anti-LGBTQ+ movement came up with the term. Being trans = you believe in trans ideology/transgenderism, supporting trans people = the same.   In the end anyone that acts on or thinks gender is anything but what is in your pants is a “transgenderist”, why not make it a word if it’s not, there is no real grey area. Unless you acknowledge there is transgenderism, but use your knowledge to “correct it”.  So I guess there could be transgenderist conversion “therapists”.  Face it, we deface the America they want. Land of the Free and Home of the Brave? I think being out and queer is pretty brave. And freedom shouldn’t just be for those who push a narrow “Christian ideology” as the “true” governing model.

Rants are not a problem.  My favorite hobby! :)   What's out there is bad enough that I wonder why some people feel they need to embellish it.  Be alert.   Some of this will need to be fought in court if they try to implement it. If people are out to get me, paranoia is justified.  And this may not be the only document.   Abby
    • Ivy
Not in so many words, therefore it's not there at all.  Excuse my paranoia. And the states passing laws against us are nothing to worry about either. Having to change my gender back to male (like in Florida) is reasonable.  I should just accept it, I mean I was born with a dk.  So that "F" is lie, and a fraud.  My delusions need to be dealt with for my own good.   I'm just frustrated these days.  Just a bit of a rant.

You probably remember the Target PR fiasco.  I remember reading an account from a woman who shopped there.  She went into a stall and did her business, and someone came into the bathroom and began swinging stall doors open, and when she came to her stall, the woman peeked at her through the crack. "What are you doing?" "Checking for perverts." The writer was so stunned by the absurdity that she finished up ASAP and got out of there, while the other woman entered a stall and locked it, made sure it was locked, and locked it again.

If 9 out of 10 parts are ok, that doesn't mean I need to accept the bad parts (that are aimed directly at me).  That seems suicidal.
