So this seems to have been a concerted attack on transgender sites. The state of things right now 

 

Thanks for that bit of information, Tilly.  I'm not surprised.  I hope they have someone good to fix it and protect their site going forward.

It appears that TGGuide has been under attack also. They have the same Invision format as we do. Apparently, many other sites have been attacked.

Kinda expected this was happening.

I suspect this will be how things will be for awhile.  It hit me pretty hard.  I would feel (and be) pretty isolated with out this site and y'all.

Yep grim times but I take some solace in the thought that these reactionary attacks are because they know they are losing the momentum. That comment may be influenced by my living in the UK where it is almost certain that next year will see a change of Government after 13 years.

 

That's not a party political remark - though I struggle to see how anyone of our community can currently support the state of things - but a reflection on the traction that so-called "anti woke" attacks have had over the past two or three years. The general movement of the country is different from these reactionaries. The last time there was a trend this obvious was in the build up to the 1997 election when Tony Blair ushered in a new era of social change, including for gay rights, after the 'Back to Basics' nonsense of the Major years.

 

So I see these attacks as increasingly desperate because the groundswell of public mood is moving on from them. The vast majority of people really couldn't care a less how someone chooses to identify themselves, just as they are now very relaxed about gay relationships. The country is moving on. The bewildered reactionaries are getting desperate.
