CA & FL Law Will Soon Collide Over Trans Health Care & Family Rights

While correct on its face, this is a bit on the overly dramatic side for this time of the game.  The CA law is based on abusive relations that have resulted in Child Protective Service investigation and levels of proof that lack of care is abuse.  The child is a ward of the CA court system and not in custody of the parents, no matter what the state residence of the absent parent. Custody agreements across state lines must be adjudicated on a case by case basis and can be annulled until the child is aged out of the system.  While Full Faith and Credit of another State's laws and judgments are in the Constitution, the Federal Courts have already carved out exceptions which Florida is already asserting in its law here.  Sauce for goose and gander really.

I suspect the ultimate solution is to make a handful of different republics instead of the 50-state USA.  Let Cali and FL go their own paths, and let people move to where they'd rather be.
