I'm not entirely sure why someone cis, claiming to be trans gender, being able to get signed up for hormones, is an indictment against the treatment.  A person could lie to a Dr in person too.  I wonder if they're on HRT now?  Were they forced go go through with it?

 

This stuff just gets more and more unreal.

Seems like a big Nothing Burger to me.  Getting a letter from a therapist isn't breaking the law, and is more of an indictment against the perp and the therapist than against the system.  Like you said, @Ivy, someone could do the same in person for any reason.

 

Misrepresentation, fraud and lying to the public is part of the right's playbook.  All we can do is keep fighting back with the truth.

So because someone was able to fraudulently (it is a fraud regardless of the legal definitions) get accepted for gender affirming care, this care should be banned?

Informed Consent can cover a multitude of sins and has in the past on a minute by minute basis.   It is the biggest source of Viagra for men who really should not be doing "that" any more.
