I got my first earrings

Last month my wife and I were at a jewelry store and I saw a really cute snake earrings. Then recently, actually 3 weeks ago, my wife and I went to the movies, and walked past a tattoo/piercing store at the mall. A very professional man (with lots of piercings and tattoos) used a big needle to pierce my ears. I chose the big cubic zirconia studs as my first set of earrings. My family liked them, even though only my wife and in-laws know the reason I got them is I am trans. My parents don’t know I am trans yet. My coworkers haven’t noticed the piercings (or just didn’t say anything about them), which surprised me. Now in three weeks I can remove the starter studs and start wearing the snake earrings that I loved so much.

I haven't gotten my ears pierced yet. I was thinking about next month. Did it hurt?

I went with the same, but I went clip-ons. I love them!

Not really. Felt like a strong pinch. It hurt less than I expected.

Isn’t it wonderful when you can swap out the starters and wear something you love? I normally have small hoop s that pass as male or female earrings. But putting in some big hoops or anything dangly just makes me feel pretty.

@Ashley0616 My piercer said I was allowed one cuss word per ear - never used any. 😄
