Came across 2pass and it is a must read for anyone starting transition. The clinic is in Antwerp, Belgium. They provide comprehensive surgery and care for all aspects of transition except for genital surgery. Very, very large amount of info including expected costs. One thing I learned is that my laser beard removal and electrolysis are not the same thing. I thought they were. Unlike laser which does not provide total beard removal they claim electrolysis provides permanent hair removal but is more painful. Instead of taking several years to remove the beard they have developed a system to remove all beard in 4-10 sessions!! They also provide comprehensive pain management for the procedure. 

 

Sadly for people like me the estimated cost for complete transition including bottom surgery cost on average $120,000 and takes 3 years. That's is and always has been non starter for me living on SS and a small retirement. This country is so backward and going backward as fast as it can. What is being done to cis women is outrageous. God help transwomen like me if the fascist gain total control!  If I was young I would leave this country and head for Europe where many of the countries in the last 10-20 years have legally mandated health insurance companies pay for transition costs. I think Canada does as well.  How I wish I was 14 again. But it is pointless to look back. Even though I will never be able to live totally who I am physically I have a very happy life with the amazing woman I'm married to. Interesting fact, Malta is considered the most transgender friendly country in the world.
